SECRETS LANZAROTE RESORT

We have had a fantastic stay for our honeymoon! The staff are amazing, nothing is too much for them and they really make you feel at home. All the food was delicious and there is so much choice with the many resturants to choose from. The facilities are 2nd to none, we never felt bored during our stay- a special mention to Naomi & Julia who kept us entertained from rifle shooting to bag and fan painting to the many cocktail classes we attended! Would definitely reccomend visiting the spa as it has so much to offer- very relaxing and the staff make you feel like a VIP- Jenny and Melissia did our relax massages and they were both incredible. Overall a 10/10 stay, we will be back soon, one of our best stays during a holiday!

We have just returned from a week at Secrets, Puerto Calero, Lanzerote. We were B&B in non preferred area. Staff were great, all an asset to hotel. Bedroom was kept clean and tidy by housekeeping and bed comfortable, pillows not so good though. Room felt a little dated, especially bathroom and shower area. Main reception, bar and lounge areas lovely. Breakfast had a good range of options including freshly cooked to order items such as omelettes etc. Unfortunately there is no coffee/tea waiter service in the mornings which we usually expect at a 5 star. We did also eat at the Batefoot Grill, Oceana and Portafino restaurants - all ok. Bar : waiter service in the evenings was quick, we didn’t really watch the entertainment so can’t comment on this. The main pool was on cold side but didn’t stop us using it most days. The pools and surrounding area all look tired and could do with some TLC. The best located sunbeds are all reserved with towels by 8.15 which is annoying. But there are other sunbeds available scattered around. Some waiter service around pool area. 10 / 15 minute walk to the lovely marina with a good choice of restaurants, bars and cafes. Most shops have closed though which was disappointing . Overall a good hotel but there is room for improvement.

Just came back after a two week break to this hotel, we went b&b because we like to eat out, it's a lovely hotel but a couple things let it down for us firstly after been lazing about on sunbed all day went back to room to find a sponge that we wash with in the bidet, one of cleaning staff had decided to use it to do a bit of cleaning we did complain but nothing came of it. We were in main building where they have the entertainment on the evening and boy was it loud if you wanted an early night you were disturbed. Also the pool next nearest the main building has holes in floor and badly patched up also 3 steps in pool not visible and no markings to say they there this caught a lot of people out. And lastly a small 0.5 litre bottle of still water cost 3.5 euro or 4 euro if you wanted spring. 1.5 litre water 80 cents at local shop in mean come on.

Visited early October for 3 nights as part of all inclusive - the resort met and exceeded expectations, the buffet may seem small at first glance but I found more food I enjoyed comparable to larger buffets in other resorts. The pool temperature was a slight negative it could do with being heated as it was far to cold to go in, also could do with having more than 1 bar for drinks during the day time.
