Just back from a three night stay in a triple room. Travelling as a couple with our adult son with learning disabilities and unlike some bad experiences in the past, this was a decent sized room with full sized beds and not just an extra camp bed squeezed in! Hotel very clean. Spacious bathroom. Quiet. Comfortable beds. No in room safe, but had kettle and hairdryer. Decent wardrobe space. Breakfast buffet was very good. We ate early and it can get busy, but our experience was very good with lots of choice for both hot and cold food. Attentive staff. Lots of amenities available if you need in the ‘barception’ area. Transfer from airport very simple using metro and 59 bus. We bought a three day ticket that allowed us unlimited travel on metro, airport bus and trams. Very easy. Hotel very well served by public transport straight to the city centre. Perfect base to explore beautiful Prague.
Cleanliness is horrible, the staff are not good at all! The receptionist joked with me about the cleaning and tell me I don’t sleep on the floor so it’s not a big deal!
The hotel is situated outside of the main city but it’s a very short walk to the metro to catch into the centre and the ticket cost us £5 each for 24 hrs which gives you access to to the trams as well. The hotel is clean, beds were comfortable, good shower and we found plenty of choice for breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were able to leave our luggage securely stored so we didn’t have to trail it around with us on the last day. We would absolutely stay here again
I stayed at this hotel a few days ago for two nights with a larger group on a school trip. When we arrived, we were suddenly handed several forms to fill out without any prior notice. It would have been helpful to know about this in advance so we could prepare. In every other hotel I’ve stayed at, my ID was simply scanned in a quick and efficient way — all this paperwork felt completely unnecessary. The first breakfast was a major disappointment, especially because of the staff’s attitude. There were no smiles, no “good morning,” nothing at all. They looked at everyone as if we were bothering them just by being there and eating in a perfectly normal and polite manner. But the worst experience came on our last night. My friends and I — about eight or nine of us — were sitting in the lobby playing cards and Activity. We weren’t alone; there were other guests around at that late hour (around 2–3 a.m.), talking quietly and minding their own business. At one point, during the game, someone cheered a bit louder out of excitement, but nothing excessive. I completely understand if the staff wanted to ask us to lower our voices for the comfort of others. However, the way it was handled was absolutely shocking. The staff member came over, whistled at us like we were animals and said: “Shut up or I’ll call the police.” That was extremely unprofessional, considering he shouted at children, ranging from 14-18, especially since it was the first and only warning. We all would have understood if we’d been approached with basic manners. Overall, the staff’s behavior was deeply disappointing, and because of that, I definitely would not recommend this hotel.
