Antigoni

This was our fourth holiday in Cyprus, and we normally stay at another 5-star hotel. Unfortunately, it was fully booked this time, so we ended up choosing Antigoni Hotel. We have to admit that we were a little sceptical beforehand, as we are not used to staying at a 3-star hotel and weren’t quite sure what to expect. But Antigoni turned out to be a really positive surprise. The rooms are not brand new or particularly modern, but they are spacious and work really well. The beds and mattresses were actually very comfortable. We had a family room with two double beds and plenty of space. The location is fantastic. The hotel is only about 100 metres from the main street, with restaurants, bars and plenty of life, yet we didn’t experience any disturbing noise at all. The beach is about an 8-minute walk away. The hotel also has a really nice pool area. We hardly used it, though, because when we are in Cyprus, for us it’s all about the beach, the beach and the beach! But the very best thing about Antigoni – and what really makes the difference for us – is the staff. Everyone has been incredibly friendly, cheerful and helpful. You genuinely feel welcome here, and that makes such a difference to the overall experience. A very special thank you to Andri. From the moment we arrived, she has been incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. She is simply one of those people who makes a real difference to your holiday and makes a hotel stay feel just right. A big thank you also to Phota, who has been equally kind and helpful throughout our stay. Antigoni may “only” be a 3-star hotel on paper, and you shouldn’t come expecting brand-new rooms or 5-star luxury. But what you do get is a fantastic location, plenty of space, comfortable beds, a lovely pool area – and most importantly, a wonderful team of people who genuinely make their guests feel welcome. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We would very happily come back!

We had a wonderful time at Antigoni Hotel. The location is great, the hotel is clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere is very relaxing and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the bar team — Rayhan, Hasan and Sohan! 🍹 They were absolutely fantastic, always friendly, cheerful and happy to have a chat. They really made the evenings more enjoyable and created such a great atmosphere at the bar. Their service and positive energy definitely made our stay even more special. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily come back. Highly recommended! 🇨🇾❤️

Overall a very good experience. The bedrooms and general rooms are a bit dated but they are kept very clean and comfortable. It is a small hotel so food options are limited but the options change daily and overall good quality. One evening we did not have any running water from 5 to past 10 o clock, including flushing toilets, which wasn’t very good. No sign of management to explain why. The real making of this hotel is the staff, they are absolutely fantastic. From the cleaning, restaurant, entertainment and bar staff they really could not do enough for their guests. Special mention goes to the bar staff Sohan, Hassan and Rayhan. The life guard Veronica. The restaurant staff Dani and Zdravka. Also the only member of the Animation team Boti who does a fantastic job all by himself day and evening. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

10 day stay over all hotel was clean staff were friendly food not so great rooms not same as some pictures in need of updating also felt bit sorry for animation lad he tried to rally guest for some activities not much joy but water aerobics big hit so maybe have 2 sessions a day no music round pool felt like a residential care home at times cleaner on our floor was a complete star she was only little but worked her socks off and did it with the biggest smile bless her .Great location for bars shops and beach just needs a few tweeks

I was reallly apprehensive about our stay with some of the reviews, but wanted to give the hotel a chance. Yes it needs updating but it is clean and tidy. The staff are absolutely lovely here and will do anything to help. From the reception staff through to the cleaners. A massive thank you to the all the bar staff that went above and beyond remembering our drinks and having the next one ready for us. Hasan Rohan and Sohan we will remember you and will be back to say hi next time we come. The food was ok, I never starved. Breakfast was the usual, but if you fancied something different the chef would make you an omelette. The lunch and evening meal were very similar. The only let down I would say is if you missed lunch and wanted a snack, this wasn’t great, dry pieces of pizza and mini burgers and hot dogs. This hotel definitely needs a lot of TLC but we never bothered about this as the staff made it for us Entertainment was really poor, but I guess a lot of people did go out. We stayed in a few nights and if it wasn’t for the people we went with and met there we would have had nothing to do. All in all a lovely holiday in an ok hotel in a central location. 5 mins walk to the beach and just back from the strip. Would we come back? Yes
