Milea Hotel

One week at Milea, and unfortunately I can't recommend it given the price point. This is my first time ever writing a review for a hotel, I feel like I needed to comment on it and share my experience. The location was a real highlight, close to the harbor, a supermarket just 2 minutes away, and close to the main party strip. That part we loved. The food, however, was a big disappointment. It often looked like it had been sitting out for hours rather than freshly prepared. The quality was low enough that we ended up eating most of our meals elsewhere. Staff service was inconsistent. Most of the team didn't seem particularly service minded, with the exception of a few, including Emilio the bartender, who was genuinely great. The owner, on the other hand, came across as unfriendly and didn't respond even when greeted directly, which set an odd tone. A concerning issue was privacy. Housekeeping entered our room while we were sleeping, despite us having declined cleaning that day. Given the high price tag, I expected a much more polished experience overall.

I stayed at this hotel for a week, and it was without a doubt the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The food was absolutely terrible. Almost everything was bland and tasteless. It honestly felt like no effort was put into preparing the meals. For a hotel serving guests every day, this is simply unacceptable. The staff were also very rude. They rarely greeted guests back, and every time we ordered something, they acted as if we were bothering them. They seemed annoyed whenever they had to do their job, which made us feel completely unwelcome. The housekeeping staff did not respect guests’ privacy either. Despite having a “Do Not Disturb” sign on our door, they entered our room without knocking or any warning. This happened more than once and is completely unacceptable. The worst part of our stay, however, was an older man who appeared to work at the hotel. Throughout the week, he repeatedly followed me and my friends around different areas of the hotel, making us feel extremely uncomfortable. One evening, we were quietly sitting in the lobby when he came over and just stood there staring at us without saying anything. Out of nowhere, he asked if there was a problem. I calmly replied that there wasn’t. Right after that, he rudely told us to leave the lobby and then started speaking loudly with a colleague in another language. I couldn’t understand what he was saying, but his tone made it very clear that he was speaking negatively about us. The entire situation felt intimidating, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Between the awful food, rude staff, lack of respect for guests’ privacy, and the uncomfortable behavior we experienced, this was by far the worst hotel stay of my life. I will never return.

The location was perfect exactly in the heart of ayia Napa. The hotel and the stuff was very lovely and welcoming. My room was brilliant and I have no complaints from the food. 100% recommend will definitely come back

The miles hotel in cyprus is rated as 3 star no it should be 4/5 because the service and staff can not do enough for you , the hotel is spotless,the location is very good .the meals are very good and choice of food.

My holiday didn't get off to the best start, a flight delay meant I didn't arrive until around 2am, and the hotel was in darkness by that time, I had a little fall on the way in. Some grumpy guy checked me in and I just didn't feel comfortable enough to sleep. The very next day, Antonia was all over it, moved me to a more suitable room and made sure the rest of my stay was going to be amazing. What an absolute angel she is! She said she 'loves her job' and you can definetly tell she does. In fact all the staff were just lovely. Emilio kept the drinks coming with cheeky smiles :) honestly, the rest of the team were always smiley and welcoming. The food was ok, I went all inclusive, but that got a bit boring after a couple of days. There are lots of places nearby to eat. The rooms were spotless, and tended daily. I'm practically ancient compared to the the majority of the guests, who were probably 18-25 yr olds but the noise levels weren't too bad. There is one small pool but not much else to do in the hotel so I took in some sightseeing tours and a couple of cruises. Thank you to the receptionists, restaurant staff, bartenders and cleaning staff, you made my first trip to Cyprus a very special experience for me x
