Dhigufaru Island Resort

Dovolenou v tomto resortu mohu doporučit především pro páry, které hledají klid, odpočinek a krásné pláže. Ubytování ve vodní vile bylo luxusní ( snad jen ceny v minibaru byly přemrštěné). Obsluha a služby nabízené resortem plně odpovídali 5*. Velmi rádi se vrátíme😁

Everything was perfect here. The staff is very kind and available. Ziya was always ready to help us and follow us for everything we needed. Food is excellent: you can find international choices. The room was always clean: two times per day they clean it up! Sunset fishing and dolphin cruise were fantastic experiences! Beautiful and relaxing atmosphere!

Amazing! Service was outstanding ! Food was beautiful and the resort was amazing. We could not have asked for a better honeymoon! Highly recommended and we will be back !

We just honeymooned here, and oh my goodness was it worth every single penny. The island is incredible, the rooms are incredible, the staff are so incredible, I couldn’t fault anything. The whole trip from start to finish was absolutely perfect thanks to the dedication of the wonderful staff, we can’t wait to come back.

We visited Dhigufaru from the 6th to 18th of September 2026 and found the island to be a bit of a conundrum. We stayed in a semi water villa, and were fortunate enough to be in one of the two villas that have been recently refurbished, and the villa was excellent. I assume that the other 8 villas will be refurbished at some point as they are starting to look a little tied. Unfortunately when they refurbished the villa the resultant debris was simply deposited on the beach beside the villa, which seems incredible for an island in the UNESCO protected area. The island has the most beautiful white sand beaches and a house reef teaming with aquatic life, we observed over 12 sharks on one snorkel. The real disappointment was the total lack of any smoking restrictions, there are not any no smoking areas, and we had to injure a lady blowing strawberry vape over us during dinner. The bar area is also an open smoking area, which when the outside doors are closed due to wind or rain becomes an area which is incredibly uncomfortable for non smokers. We had to leave the evening entertainment on several occasions due to the Smokey atmosphere and return to our room. On the basis that the bulk of the people on the island do not smoke this seems a very short sighted policy. When you ad that people also smoked in and around the pool area there was very little escape. My recommendation if you are a non smoker is that this island is not for you, and find somewhere we a more modern approach to smoking. The food, whilst always plentiful and well cooked, lacked variety and this is more apparent when you approach the delivery date for the new supplies, which arrive every 4 weeks. The staff are super friendly and always help as required, and the island has wonderful grounds and is well laid out. Hopefully at some point in the future the resort will realise that the vast majority of people do not smoke and confine smoking to certain areas.
