Perfect experience with sunil

Great yoga experience with Sunil!

My entire holiday at the Dusit D2 Maldives hotel was absolutely brilliant!!! The journey there is very short and pleasant, thanks to the short 7-minute boat crossing from Malé. The whole team is fantastic!! I had a wonderful experience at the Midi Bar at the Dusit D2 Maldives. Irufaan, Zinad, Hari, Firqar and Selestin are truly the jewels of the Midi Bar. Their excellent service, warm hospitality and attention to detail made my stay unforgettable. To be honest: without Hari and Selestin, the Midi Bar wouldn’t be the same. I’d also like to give a special mention to Ansuman from the gym, as he’s very inspiring and welcoming. The food and drinks on offer at the hotel are of a very high standard, and the accommodation is modern and clean. There’s also a house reef where you can enjoy some great snorkelling. The dives I booked on site were also excellent, and I had an encounter with about 7 or 8 manta rays – unbelievable :-) I did the dives on site with the dive guide Adria, and I’d also like to thank him for his great service and exemplary handling of the dives! All in all, it was a wonderful and relaxing experience. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

I just wanted to share that after so much advance planning, multiple emails and calls to make my daughter’s first birthday stay perfect, I was very disappointed with the hotel and overall service. A great hotel can make or break a Maldives holiday, and unfortunately this one fell short. The proximity to the city means you can see the male city skyline buildings or cargo ships from many areas, the food quality and variety were disappointing, and the service lacked the personalized touch you expect in the Maldives. I had to repeatedly follow up for everything, including my daughter’s birthday cake, a photoshoot I had paid for, and a paid boat cruise. Given the price point and the amount of planning that went into this trip, I expected a much better experience. I have had far better stays in the Maldives at lower price points.
