Dusit D2 Resort is absolute paradise. ​First off, the accommodations were incredibly spacious and wonderful. The Beach Villa had direct access to the beach, making it so easy to run right into the ocean. The Overwater Pool Villa, in particular, allowed us to relax in the private pool while soaking in the view of the emerald sea. ​With five different dining options, the menu variety kept our meals exciting throughout the entire stay without ever feeling repetitive. Plus, thanks to the All-Inclusive package, we could enjoy unlimited drinks, cocktails, and alcoholic beverages. ​Every member of the staff was consistently kind and helpful. Special thanks to Aminul, a staff member who speaks fluent Korean; he gave us detailed tips about the accommodation and amenities, making our stay so much more comfortable and enjoyable. ​This dreamlike time flew by all too fast, but we sincerely hope to visit again if given the chance.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Dusit D2 Feydhoo Maldives, and overall it was a five-star experience. From arrival to check-out, the hospitality was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The reception team made us feel at home immediately, and the service throughout the resort was excellent — attentive, friendly, and never intrusive. Our accommodation was beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained, making our stay truly relaxing. The highlight was SOI Thai restaurant. We had every meal there because the food was outstanding and the atmosphere was perfect. A special thank you to Chef Nan, such a kind lady who gave us a truly memorable dining experience, and to the whole SOI team for looking after us so well. We also want to thank Saeed, the gentleman who helped us with our transfer when we were checking out. He was kind, helpful, and made our departure smooth and stress-free. I stayed here with my fiancé for 3 nights in a sunset overwater villa with pool . though i am a local, since i was with a foreigner, we paid more than direct rate since we booked through a TA and was expecting somewhat decent of a service. to start with the room, we loved the design of the room. it was pretty good spacious really loved the high ceiling design. overall i was happy with the room and location. However the bathroom design felt very impractical. They had just a single ceiling fan that had no speed at all. and it so hot inside that right after you get out of shower, you are sweaty all over again. so that was very annoying and inconvenient. In addition to that, as we were in the toilet getting ready to go for breakfast, we were surprised by an excavator that was being driven right outside next to our pool deck, and it was being driven on the reef. so close to the pool deck that i couldve jumped into it with 0 effort. and it was completely unacceptable since we had not received any prior notice or information that this kind of work was ongoing or anything. during check-in we were told that these were the best over water villa's in terms of location and privacy. and yet this made us feel very uncomfortable as we felt like our privacy was invaded and on top of that when we raised the concern by saying that this was bot the experience we paid for, we just got a response saying that they had given us a call to inform but we had missed it and that they are sorry for it and that they have informed the excavator operator to not drive there in-front of the villa 🙃 and mind you, they have a direct chat with us through their application from which they could've notified us, which they didn't and we definitely did not receive any calls that morning. Anyhow, we were not once approached by any senior team member or management regarding the issue and concern. which was extremely disappointing, and made us feel like no consideration was given since i was a local, though i paid the same money as any other foreign tourist would. and also j would like to mention that the lagoon around the over eater villa felt quite dirty and remained the same throughout the stay which made us not want to go into the ocean from our villa. moving on to food and staff, the main all day dining theme buffet dinner options were very limited and underwhelming. But since the Ll inclusive package covers almost all outlets, there were other options. and still the menu selection felt quite limited in all of them. The Thai outlet "Soii" was great and we loved the food there and the staff as well. we would like to mention this one girl who served us there, but i dint remember her name, i think it may be Nana, but i might be wrong. anyhow, this girl was amazing and made us feel really seen, as she would come with a big warm smile and always offer me my regular drink before me even asking for it, little touches of recognition by the staff without us asking for it really makes the interaction special and elevates the experience, which she did for the both us. So yeah, that was our experience and D2. not as good as we had expected it would be and quite disappointing in a lot of areas, nonetheless the AI package was great and we actually might visit again sometime.

The Maldives is our go-to destination whenever we want a fuss-free holiday where we can simply switch off and relax. This was our second stay at DusitD2 Feydhoo, and once again it ticked all the boxes for us. One of its biggest advantages is the location — only around 7 minutes by speedboat from Malé. Travelling with a child, we really appreciate being able to reach the resort so quickly without another long transfer after the flight. As Dusit Platinum members, we also really appreciate the recognition and benefits extended to us during our stays. It adds another layer of comfort and makes returning to the brand feel especially rewarding. The food is one of the main reasons we keep coming back. Having good-quality restaurant dining included in the all-inclusive plan is a huge plus for us, and Midi remains our favourite. The food is consistently on point. A special thank you to Head Chef Uwais, together with Raja, Ankit, Omkar, Bosco, Mukesh and Bayu. The Midi service team — Niassh, Iyaah, Auzam, Akash and Raatu — also took great care of us. Niassh interacted especially well with our son, who was always happy to see him. A heartfelt thank you as well to the Midi chefs and team for always being so accommodating with our son. He loves watching the action in the hot kitchen, and the team was always patient and welcoming with him. It was a small gesture, but one that made the experience especially memorable for our family. At Baraveli, Husam greeted us warmly every morning and provided genuinely attentive service. Chef Rahgu’s avocado toast became something we looked forward to every day. Lokesh is a man of few words, but he gets things done. He helped arrange our floating breakfast and even took the time to teach our son a few cue-sports tricks, which our son really enjoyed. Our dining experience at BO was superb as well. The ingredients were fresh and everything was cooked just right. My wife is still singing praises of the Sunset Roll even now. A special thank you to Chef Ziyan and his team. The dinner service team — Niassh, Iyaak and Raatu — were warm and attentive throughout. We would also like to thank Executive Chef Adil for leading such a fabulous team of chefs and for creating such an enjoyable culinary experience for guests across the resort. We regularly dropped by Cocoon for drinks as well, and the team there was consistently friendly and welcoming. It became an easy, relaxed spot for us to return to during the stay. The only downside was our experience at Soi. Nana’s manner felt cold and unwelcoming, perhaps due to an unpleasant encounter during our previous stay. This was disappointing, particularly coming from someone in a managerial position. On one occasion, our son was served a bowl of rice that was already hard when it arrived at the table. When we asked for it to be replaced, the bowl was taken away without any acknowledgement or response. We travel to Thailand around four times a year and have become quite familiar with Thai food, so the food at Soi unfortunately did not consistently meet our expectations either. Some poultry dishes were hard and dry, while a few fried items had a noticeable old-oil smell. That said, the basil chicken with rice was excellent and one dish we genuinely enjoyed. Thankfully, our experience at Soi felt isolated and was not reflective of the warm hospitality we received everywhere else. At the front desk, it was genuinely nice seeing Ahmed again. He had also been involved in an unpleasant situation during our previous stay, but it was resolved before we departed and the warmth had already returned by the end of that trip. Seeing him again this time felt completely natural, with no hard feelings at all. A very special mention goes to Wayne, who assisted us from the moment we arrived and handled our check-in. He became our key point of contact throughout the stay and checked in on us almost daily to make sure everything was going well. Whenever we needed assistance, he was responsive and made an effort to get things sorted as quickly as possible. His attentiveness and follow-through made us feel very well looked after throughout the trip. Saeed from the buggy team was always polite, cheerful and someone we were happy to see coming to pick us up. A heartfelt thank you as well to Resort Manager Khun Chanisa for personally being involved in coordinating our return stay. We truly appreciate the care and effort she put into making everything come together smoothly. We also noticed the attention given to maintaining the resort. After rain, staff quickly repaired and smoothed the sandy paths, and we regularly saw the sea-access stairs being scrubbed. The steps never felt slippery, something we particularly appreciated after staying at other resorts where algae can make sea-entry stairs quite hazardous. It is a small detail, but one that shows the work happening behind the scenes to keep the resort comfortable and safe. For us, DusitD2 Feydhoo works because everything feels easy — quick access from Malé, fantastic food, genuinely warm people and a relaxing atmosphere where we can simply switch off. And perhaps the best indication of how much we enjoyed our stay: before we even departed, we had already booked our third stay for next year. We had another wonderful trip and are already looking forward to coming back.

We had the most incredible stay at Dusit D2 Feydhoo Maldives and genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, every single member of staff made us feel so welcome. Everyone was incredibly friendly, warm and attentive, and you could truly feel how much they cared about making our stay special. Our villa was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Waking up in paradise every morning honestly felt like a dream. The food was also amazing throughout our stay - there was always something delicious to look forward to and we loved experiencing all the different restaurants and dining options. What stood out most to us, though, was the people. The warmth and kindness of the team made this beautiful resort feel even more special and turned our holiday into something we’ll remember forever. We came to the Maldives to celebrate my 30th birthday and I genuinely couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate such a special milestone. I may have even shed a little tear when it was time to leave! Thank you to the entire Dusit D2 team for making our stay so memorable. We left with very full hearts, beautiful memories and the hope that one day we’ll be lucky enough to come back. 🤍 Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!
