Kandima

A very fun, neat and extraordinary place. The staff is very willing to fulfill all desires the guest might have. The animation team has so many cool ideas, especially for themes like Halloween. The house DJ plays good dancable music and creates good vibes. If you want to join the party everyones very invited to do so, if you don't want it's nice and quiet to get a good nights sleep. You will always find an individual place and a bench on the beach. Especially the complimentary courses are just nice and individual, like the Yoga course of Jessica, she has been just doing such a great job. Food is fantastic and always has enough variety. The dive center staff is very nice as well, I loved the dives.. The island has also an uninhabited part with just sand where it meets the next island. How beautiful. The rooms are clean and cozy, but you can see the time the hotel exists. Some things have already seen their best years, but that doesn't bother me that much. The prices are relatively reasonable compared to other high class hotels in the Maledives. Would always come back, especially if you have kids, they have such a great variety of offers to choose from that every kid will have the time of its life and meet new friends.

Kandima is a Great Resort over all. People and personnel is very friendly and service orientated. Food is great and the variety is absolutely satisfying. If you need a family resort this is the place to be. If you want more couple time then book a Sunset Beach villa with pool to hide. The breeze is quiet better than on the sunrise side where you cannot swim. All inclusive is helpful and book all restaurants right on arrival . The personnel is helping you. Make sure to bring anti mosquito spray with you. I experienced to tell the guests from Middle East that they are not allowed to feed the fish. The personnel cannot be everywhere. You have to be aware that some guests have no table manors and they do not remove the mess their kids make with the food. The prices for fun and sports are quite high and when you have the discount it just safes you the interest and tax. I would like to point out that Arasya and Yuman are absolutely detailing when it comes to housekeeping. Very friendly and polite. So overall a place to go again or a benchmark if you decide for another island. Thank you so much . Reloading the batteries on Kandima in 8 days is the same like 3 weeks in a European resort.

Location and room was great as we stayed here last year but the food and general customer service has dropped dramatically. When we arrived we knew more about the island facilities than the staff. They couldn't even direct us to the room. You use a wrist key to enter the room but they didn't work, even the 2nd lot of keys didn't work and the door lock needed new batteries. The same issue with the safe. Room was for 3 but only towels for 2. The a la carte restaurants, only smoked was to any level of quality especially considering the prices charged. When we travelled back on the speedboat, we had to board a bus and leave our luggage on the dockside. They had no one looking after them and 2 of our suitcases had the locks completely broken that we only noticed when we arrived home. What a shame as it was an excellent experience 20 months ago.

Unforgettable Experience at Kandima Maldives! Kandima Maldives is such a wonderful place! The island is breathtaking, the beaches are beautiful, and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing holiday. The rooms are lovely, the food is excellent, and the entire resort is fantastic! A huge shoutout to Ameen! ❤️ He is an amazing person with a warm heart and a wonderful personality. He always makes everyone feel welcome and goes the extra mile to make guests happy. His kindness and dedication truly stand out! Thank you, Ameen, and the entire Kandima team for such a memorable experience. We can’t wait to visit again!

We have had a great stay & met many wonderful new friends. The staff are amazing, so attentive and the venue very clean. We had daily visits to clean our room from Rakesh who managed to keep our room clean and sand free. Despite our inability to keep it tidy 😂 We have laughed so hard, enjoyed the variety of food. Particularly enjoyed eating at the restaurants in the evening and partying into the nights with our new friends. The bar staff are so much fun ensuring we never have an empty glass … so a couple of hazy mornings. I have to admit we have not made breakfast but that’s what holidays are all about!!
