Měl 2 týdenní zimní přestávku hotel Santana 20. února hotel velmi čisté jídlo dobrý personál a čističe velmi přátelský mnoho lidí, kteří zůstali na dlouhé zimní přestávky, všichni přátelští si rezervují delší přestávku později v roce

Pěkný čistý hotel s malým krytým bazénem a velkým venkovním střešním bazénem. Je to velmi blízko k tolika restauracím a lázním a jízda 15 euro šroubem na noční julianskou zátoku pro noční život. Postele byly pohodlné, i když je to velmi hlučný hotel, jak slyšíte, jak vaši sousedé spláchli záchod. A po chodbách.

We were really looking forward to enjoying our first holiday in Malta, so we decided to book the Hotel Santana, especially as it had recently been refurbished and looked very nice in the photographs. Unfortunately, our stay was not as safe or pleasant as we had hoped. Although most of the staff were helpful to a certain extent, several problems we reported were not properly resolved. Our room was very large, but the layout was extremely bizarre. The bed was positioned close to the bathroom, while the balcony was a long walk away at the other end of the room. Half of the room appeared to be furnished, while at the far end there was a sofa and a television mounted on the wall. If you wanted to watch television from the bed, you simply couldn’t, as the TV was at the opposite end of the room and faced directly towards the wall. Very strange. The mattress was also very hard, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. We later discovered that some of these rooms had previously been apartments and that the kitchen areas had simply been removed during the refurbishment, leaving large, rather empty spaces. There were no shelves in the shower or bathroom, and only two small hooks for hanging towels. The electrical fuse box, situated next to the bathroom entrance, constantly buzzed whenever the room key card was inserted into the power slot. This was particularly annoying at night and disturbed our sleep . It was also quite obvious that the refurbishment was not fully finished. There were no proper seals between the walls and ceiling in the bathroom, and there were no extractor fans. Some of the floor tiles in the corridors were loose, the fire doors appeared unfinished, and the lift was continually breaking down. My wife was actually stuck in the lift at one point, which was particularly concerning. Breakfast was adequate, but the evening meals were disappointing. The pasta was probably the worst pasta I have ever tasted, while the meat was generally either very fatty or extremely tough. As a result, we ended up eating most of our evening meals elsewhere. The refurbished pool area itself was very nice and clean. Unfortunately, however, our enjoyment of it was spoiled by groups of partygoers who were playing their own music, bringing their own alcohol and pizzas, and even smoking cannabis around the pool. We reported this to management, but very little seemed to be done. A poster was eventually put in the lift stating that cannabis was not permitted in the hotel, but nobody appeared to take any notice. We were left having to put up with their music playing alongside the hotel’s own music, as well as their generally antisocial behaviour, despite it being against the hotel rules. I would, however, like to mention the tall duty manager, who was extremely helpful when our hire car was hit by another driver. He was also very helpful on our final day and arranged for us to have a later room departure. We appreciated his assistance. Unfortunately, our experience means that we would not stay at the Santana again. We were also disappointed with the surrounding area of St Paul’s Bay.. Personally, we found it to be an unattractive, heavily built-up concrete town, with construction seemingly taking place everywhere. On one occasion, after spending some time outside, my wife returned to the hotel with dust covering her skin. We also visited Mellieha Bay, which was another disappointment. We went early in the morning, yet the beach already had quite a lot of rubbish, and many of the sun beds were dirty. Overall, Malta was not the experience we had hoped for, and unfortunately the Hotel Santana did little to change that. While there were some positive aspects, particularly the refurbished pool area and the helpful staff members we encountered, there were simply too many problems during our stay for us to consider returning

Im a residence of Malta, visiting Cafè Castagna several times a week, and would like to thank very much for the high quality and entertaining live music at Cafè Castagna, very talented musicians performing all year round. The cafè offering tasty snacks, cakes and drinks, a very welcoming and skilled staff who take the service to an extremely high level. See you soon!
