I really enjoyed my stay at Hyatt Place. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the location is really nice . I also loved that they had a shuttle that goes to Agadir and the beach super convenient for getting around. But the best part was the staff especially Nisrine and Mohammed from the restaurant team. They were always smiling, super helpful, and made me feel genuinely welcome. Great value and great people I'd happily stay here again.

Currently half way through our stay at the Hyatt Place in Tagazout Bay. The hotel was recommended by friends and after reading the reviews and knowing Hyatt are typically high standard decided to book here. Thoughts so far are that it most definetly isn't a 5 star hotel. Staff seem attentive on day 1, but after that, you become invisible. We have had 2 instances of waiting around 30 minutes for a lunchtime table despite there being empty uncleaned tables around us, lots of staff, but nobody wanting to serve us. Table was eventually set, however missing cutlery and napkins. On one occasion we had no bread as a starter event though the tables around us received a complimentary bread basket. The evening buffet is 95% the same each evening despite being told by the staff that there is a "themed night" every night. I wouldn't recommend the half board and would suggest you head into Agadir. Cleanliness of the hotel is not 5 star, sun lounges have mould, and the bedroom carpets have various stains. On our first night, they allowed us to check in early, we explained we needed the sofa bed setting up as we had two young kids, after asking reception and facilities 3 times, they eventually came to make up the bed at 9pm, 9 hours after the initial request! The kids were so tired by this point! Now we sit here at 5.50pm waiting for towels in our room, despite ringing down twice. We've had to change our dinner plans as we were meant to be showered and headed out to town..... All in all, I would say it's an 'ok' hotel, and rate it a 3 at a push. @hyatt, please do better!

Hyatt Place Taghazout – Honest Review (2.5/5 ⭐) I had high expectations after seeing social media videos and reviews, but unfortunately, this hotel didn’t live up to them. Cons * Check-in isn’t until 3:00 pm, which wasn’t made clear on the EasyJet booking. * Half board only includes breakfast and dinner. You can’t swap dinner for lunch. * Dogs were wandering around the hotel lobby. * Our sofa bed wasn’t made up despite requesting it. * The bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned – it was dusty and had noticeable limescale. * Rooms only have European plug sockets, so remember to bring an adapter. * The hotel is in a very quiet, isolated location with no nearby restaurants or local shops within walking distance. * Soft drinks aren’t included with dinner. You either have to pay extra or drink room-temperature water. * No ice or cold drinking water was available. * The room fridge barely kept drinks cold. * Only one lift serves the whole hotel, which can mean waiting. * The resort is very poorly lit at night. Walking around or using the outdoor stairs feels unsafe due to the lack of lighting. * There is virtually no entertainment. * Even during the day there was no background music around the pool, making the atmosphere feel very quiet. * No bidet in the toilets, which surprised me considering it’s a Muslim country. * It was difficult to buy drinks during the day because the hotel shops were often closed, even when staff were nearby. When they were open, drinks like Coke or Red Bull were very expensive. * The nearest beach is at the sister hotel, Hyatt Regency Taghazout. There’s a free shuttle (around 5–10 minutes), but Hyatt Place guests are kept separate and only have access to basic sunbeds without cushions. * When we wanted a taxi to watch the sunset at a local beach, there wasn’t one available, so we missed out. * No outdoor bar or drink station open in the evenings. * No staff came around the pool to take drink orders while relaxing. * Crepes and ice cream are available, but they’re chargeable. * The room air conditioning stopped working twice during our stay. * The pool closes at 6:00 pm, even though sunset is around 8:30 pm, which feels far too early. Pros * The bed was very comfortable, and we slept well. * The hotel is clean in the main areas and is peaceful if you’re looking for a quiet break. * The free shuttle to the sister hotel’s beach is convenient. Overall If you’re looking for somewhere quiet where you can relax, sleep, and have breakfast and dinner included, then Hyatt Place Taghazout may suit you. However, if you’re expecting the luxury experience shown on social media or you’re used to 5-star resorts in places like Dubai or Egypt, you may find this hotel disappointing. It feels more like a comfortable 3.5–4-star hotel than a true luxury resort. There are quite a few small issues that, when added together, take away from the overall experience. Overall rating: 2.5/5 ⭐
