AI pobyt + lokalita, klidná, nejbližší hotel je na druhé straně zátoky + výborná kuchyně + zaměstnanci hotelu milí a ochotní + zdarma kajaky + u hotelu je autobusová zastávka - využili jsme na místní market - wifi jen u bazénu a v lobby (není takový problém) - za lepším šnorchlováním musíte lodí - poplatek cca 20e - pláž 5 - 10 minut chůze, ale poté je jen pro vás :-) ráno u hotelu čeká místní taxi, za cca 3000rp vás proveze po téměř celém ostrově - doporučuji absolvovali jsme celodenní výlet na katamaranu pořádaný cestovkou - příště bychom klidně vynechali

Omg this place was amazing down to the really nice welcome when we arrived. Janishsta was fantastic catering to our every need and making our stay memorable. If you like a quiet relaxing holiday then this hotel is for you the views are fantastic. There is not a large beach and it is not deep when the tide comes in you can walk out and swim. The rooms were spacious with large beds and lovely size balcony that you can sit on if an evening and chill. It was great value for money loved the food different themes every night. Manisha one of the bar staff was so helpful and we became good friend during stay. When we left it was nice to go round to everybody they made us feel like we were part of their family.

I had a terrible experience. I booked through Travelocity a package deal, flight and hotel. But since my girlfriend travelled from a different airport, we were on two Travelocity itineraries. Since they were not connected, their data said 'one guest' and, Jalsa hotel insisted only one of us could stay in the room. Instead of trying to understand the logistics of booking two tickets from different destinations through Travelocity, the hotel did not allow my girlfriend in because of this - Nilesh raj and other people at the reception were rude, said they were not allowed to provide their last names, and instead of accomodating guests coming in from different continents and realizing the mutual benefit of (in their mind) an additional guest paying for meals etc, they insisted she needed to get a separate room. It was a harsh welcome, that ended with threats. Unbelivable to treat prospective guests this way. We saw no option but to check out. There was no refund, but not only that, when we came by later to seek a sweater left in the room, we were no allowed to enter OUR room because it was rented out to others -- yet, it was still reserved on my name. Very unfriendly and unprofessional staff, in a hotel that looked dated and had few guests. After 35 years of world travel I have never experienced anything like it--most sincerely, Dr. Ingi Agnarsson.

My first impression of Jalsa Beach was unfortunately disappointing, mainly because of the service at reception. There was very little warmth, communication, or hospitality. Staff grooming, posture, manners, and the way guests are welcomed definitely need improvement. I understand that Jalsa Beach is a 3-star hotel, but being 3-star should never mean 3-star hospitality. A simple smile, “good morning,” or friendly welcome should be basic standards in any hotel. The same issue was noticeable at the restaurant. Staff seemed more focused on clearing plates quickly than on making guests feel comfortable. There was no greeting when entering the restaurant, and the overall interaction felt cold. The expat staff member was actually the one who consistently greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. On the positive side, the hotel itself and the rooms were good for a 3-star property. The place was clean, peaceful, and not noisy, which made it a nice environment to relax. The views were also amazing, and this is definitely one of the highlights of the property. It’s a nice place for families looking to unwind and spend quality time together. The food was good overall, although there is definitely room for improvement. With some attention to quality and variety, the dining experience could be much better. Overall, Jalsa Beach has a lot of potential. The cleanliness, peaceful atmosphere, rooms, and beautiful views are definite positives. However, staff attitude, manners, grooming, communication, and overall hospitality need serious attention. Improving the service would make a huge difference to the guest experience. I hope management takes this feedback constructively. The property itself has good potential, and with better-trained staff and stronger hospitality standards, it could provide a much better overall experience. We had a nice stay there ,nice views from our room ,staft at the reception was abit rude during our arrival at the hotel no smile as if we bother them ..food were too repetitive at the resto but the staft at the restaurant were so friendly and polite..our rooms were well cleaned..
