Now that the dust has settled and we have settled back in to home life I think it is a good time to write our overall view on our visit to the Grand Tequila. during our stay the hotel was under occupied, I feel this made the hotel a lot more relaxed and guests were very sociable and friendly. The pool offered two good option the lively side and the more relaxed side and sunbed availability were no issue whenever time of day you decided to visit. The evening entertainment was adequate in the lobby area with options to access neighbouring hotels if you wanted something more as well as some later parties around the pool bars. During our stay there was no option to have a buffet as it was all al la cart due to the under occupancy, but it wasn't a issue as access to the Akumal and Coba buffets were so easy by carts. The pre booked Al la cart restaurants were very good and we enjoyed every one we had. Being my first visit to Mexico I found the staff very polite but I must give a special mention to Valery on reception who was really impressive with her customer relation skills and as our point of contact added to elevate our stay to excellent.

I would like to leave honest review I usually don’t but i’ve been here 3 times and now that hyatt tools over sadly they need new management absolutely terrible. coba was so much better asked for manager never showed. food very surprising very bar an out closed restaurant i would say my lat trip to cuba made this pale look really bad also kids all over so not adults only go somewhere else sadly we loved it as big group but hyatt went die. hill. we are so depressed how bad this place is now and management t won’t step in should just close it they will close time selves down much nicer places and i feel so bad saying it but it’s honest take your chance

Alexa at the front desk was excellent! Thank you Alexa! Eric was great! Yoga sessions were just what I needed and such an energized activity person, getting people involved, including me! Hilda at the Akumal Spa did an exceptional job at relaxing me at the two spa treatments I had! Albert at the Akumal Lobby was so welcoming everytime I saw him, loved our little chats! All of the drivers and consiours should receive gold medals for the hard work they do, all with a smile and true enjoyment of their jobs! Can not wait to come back!!

Enjoyed myself. Nice amenities and environment. Great food and great staff. The la casita truckfood was awesome and had great staffs as well. The room was nice and cleaned daily. Got the value for my money.
