Bahia Principe Escape Tequila

Sexy and hot and the best trip ever.

This was our 12th trip to Mexico and 8th trip to the Bahia Principe. We stayed at all the resorts except the Sir Can. The Tequila was very good, newer and very clean. It's adults only and the pool bar was very fun. Pool parties all week with great staff. The staff was very nice and very helpful all week. Our room was very clean with no problems. You get a purple wrist band which allows you access to all the resorts and food restaurants. The Sir Can has a great dinner buffet I would recommend for sure. Akumal has best breakfast and lunch buffets. The shuttles makes it easy to get anywhere quick. If you're traveling with kids I recommend the Tulum or Akumal. Not a fan of the Coba. We're going to do a family trip next with my daughter and grandkids and we will be going back to the Bahia.

Visited grand bahia coba 10yrs ago and always said we'd go back what a mistake. The whole resort has gone right down. The food was terrible very cab heavy whats isn't great if you're diabetic. The menu never changed. The tequila restaurant wasn't open at lunch time. The room was very dated the balcony handrail was nearly falling off. The mini bar was a joke 2ltr bottle of water 2 beers 4 sodas. There's no baths even though advertised as having one.You had to pull your own beet at the bar as bar staff would only serve spirits or cocktails. The entertainment was exceptionally poor all but for a Thursday night. We attempted to book a la cartes but couldn't get in to many of them. Got booked into the tortuga on our last night but got told when we arrived it had been fully booked by a private party. Any extras are chargeable. It's like an all exclusive thats not all exclusive. Spoke to a lot of couples whilst there and they all agreed how it had become a very poor resort.

Me and some friends went twice this year in February for 10 days and again in march for 7 days! We had the most amazing time, the staff are amazing, the entertainement team are outstanding ( Gregory, Roberto and Barbie ) Nica our server at nights at the party was just a delight ! The entertainement team is so different then the standard this is the stage here is the magic show or singers, its an interactive experience happening around you ! We are going back in November with a large group of friends ! The food was really good, we aren’t picky as long as we have options ! The only thing I didn’t like is between February and march they started charging for the casita parties at night ( it’s like 5-10$ extra ) . It’s an all inclusive I want everything to be included, it’s just seems un necessary hide it the price !! ** Roberto and Barbie no longer work for the resort, they will be greatly missed, they are a main part of the reason we went back in march. We did get to meet Gregory and he is just lovely. I’m sure they have hired some more amazing team members :)

The Privilege Club provide an outstanding service. Friendly, caring and knowledgeable staff, in particular Gustavo at the Tequila Lobby. An exceptional hotel facility. Very high recommended.
