Aqua Natura Bay

Krásná lokalita, výhled, výborné jídlo: bohaté snídaně s kvalitními produkty, velkým výběrem (např. pečivo i pro bezlepkáře), džus z čerstvých pomerančů a výběr vína i sektů. Vřele doporučujeme zde jít i na večeři - za velmi podobné ceny, jako ve městě dostanete skutečně špičkovou kvalitu. Vše pak doplňuje přátelský personál, spousta milých pozorností od vychlazeného šampaňského na uvítanou, doplněné kávy a sladkostí každý den až po drobnou pozornost při odjezdu. Krásný střešní bazén s odpočinkovou zónou, velmi vkusně zařízené pokoje a pohodlné postele....prostě nic nám zde nechybělo a při našich cestách Madeirou se sem určitě opět vrátíme.

Jedná se o menší hotel na pobřeží Atlantiku. Velice příjemný,sympatický a ochotný personál.Kuchyně vynikající. Pokoje prostorné s nádherným výhledem na oceán i na hory. Kousek od dvou přírodních bazénu.Perfektní koupání v obou. Hotel je nově rekonstruovaný,velice vkusně zařízený. Bohužel chybí klimatizace.Ale ve větší části roku asi nebude nutná.

A few issues throughout our stay including lack of care regarding security which was troubling, particularly for 2 female guests. Ended up in 2 different rooms and both had balconies that didn't lock. First was on 1st floor with a climbable flat roof next to it, so wouldn't take much to break in. Didn't feel like we were safe but reluctantly stayed here for the first night as there were no alternative rooms available and sister hotel could only offer us 1 night then we'd have to return to the Aqua Natura Bay for the remaining nights. Too much of a faff when we were only there for 3 nights plus hotel was a 9 minute walk away at nighttime with our luggage. We were moved within the hotel the next day and 2nd room had a balcony door that didn't lock again. We couldn't believe we'd been moved to yet another room with a broken balcony door and that this wasn't checked or mentioned. We gave up at this point and being higher up, the only access would have potentially been from the balconies either side. The room itself was fine and comfortable. Air con unit in the 2nd room was newer and much more quiet than the 1st. Hotel has an odd atmosphere and felt pretty soulless. Corridor on 3rd floor smelt of boiled vegetables-reminded me of a care home. A number of staff seemed to be trying to do the bare minimum of work and reception was severely under staffed on our first afternoon/evening. Management need to fix this. Calling reception twice with no answer then having to wait 25 minutes in a check in queue to speak to the receptionist isn't acceptable. I felt really quite sorry for her. There's no maintenance person onsite in the evenings either. Empty glasses/dirty plates weren't cleared for well over an hour at the end of the main bar and on the rooftop raised counter area at different points of our stay, with several staff members walking past them and just ignoring them. Hotel gave the feel of an upgraded Premier Inn which are great for a night or 2, and when you're paying less but not great for this trip. Breakfast was very good with a decent selection of items. The omelette station was appreciated. The rooftop pool area is really well done with a decent number of loungers, and the views are stunning. The nearby natural pools were lovely and the hotel offers you complimentary passes to the ones you pay for. The spa area was pleasant but the ABBA, Michael Jackson etc. tunes being piped across the spa didn't set a very relaxing tone to our visit. Gave us a laugh though. The hotel kindly treat guests to a few thoughtful goodies like a metal water bottle, mini jar of jam, mini chocolates, blue sparkling wine and a welcome drink of Madeira wine. There were lots of positives but how the room issue was dealt with was unacceptable. Overall this hotel wasn't quite what we'd hoped for and we wouldn't return.

Fabulous hotel. Great location and the staff were really kind and warm. Room is nice and the view is absolutely outstanding!!

Could not fault the hotel. The staff were brilliant, the food was excellent and the rooftop terrace was just lovely. I would highly recommend going. Very relaxing We also had a hot stone massage which was excellent
