Cape Sounio, A Resort to Live®

Náš třetí návrat, poloviční cena přilákala i ostatní a tak byl hotel překvapivě plný i na konci října. Hotel je pořád bezchybný, nově upravená pláž a okolí bazénu. Snídaně velmi bohaté, večeři jsme letos nebrali. Mám oblíbené dvě taverny v okolí - Sysrtaki a Maridu. Večeříme raději dříve, jinak hotel určitě má i večerní bufet skvětý. Moře bylo krásně teplé i na konci října, 24 stupňů. V hotelu je krytý vyhřívaný bazén, nebyl třeba. Výhledy na Posseidonův chrám se neomrzí, 40 minut jízdy k jezeru Vouliagméni, spousta možností na pěší výlety v okolí, hotel leží na hranici národního parku Sounio.Bungalovy jsou krásně položeny a odhlučněny, dostatek suchých osušek na pláži i u bazénu, na pláži pořád dostatek lehátek. Dva dny dokonce nefoukalo, což je na Souniu neobvyklé. Velmi příjemný prodloužený víkend, letenky Praha-Atény za 3 tisíce, na příští květen už dokonce jsou v prodeji za 2500,-. Mám zase cukání na další prodloužený víkend.

We haven’t yet finished our stay, but we are loving our experience here. The kids club is so warm and welcoming (special thank you to Pascal and the whole team there) and the events team were fantastic. Very grateful for the beautiful authentic experiences and the famous Greek hospitality. It made our rainy stay so special and fun. We are blown away by the exceptional service. Across restaurants, reception staff, room service and kids club, service has been consistently amazing and responsive. Thank you for organizing the trip to the temple of Poseidon and generally for a really relaxing experience. The room itself is good (temple villa), quite pricey but likely due to the hotel being at full capacity. Would recommend adding some carpets and some more seating indoors for extra comfort. One area to note is that the gym is quite small. Also for self-guided yoga and stretching there is no space when it is crowded inside. I would recommend opening up the studio for people who want to stretch and do yoga outside of fixed and private lessons. But all in all we will certainly be back. Would love to experience it in warmer months when the beach and the sea are more accessible.

This was my third return visit to Cape Sounio Resort, it is such a special resort giving such a wonderful experience. I took my two daughters and my grandson who is seven months old. Every part of our stay is looked after by all the staff, it is was outstanding as always. The resort is immaculately clean, the catering is stunning, however, what makes it the BEST resort are the staff, who are so welcoming, caring and really take an interest in their guests. I want to name Kostas in the buffet restaurant, who looked after us so well especially our baby boy, nothing is too much trouble. I really cant wait to return in the Spring with my family. Please don't change a single thing as its exceptional on every level.

Whether your are looking for a place for amazing food and drinks, or your looking to hear the most amazing pianist, look no further as this place did no disappoint! We came here with some local friends and plan to return again with my wife as we loved it so much!
