Clean hotel with lovely helpful staff. Hot tub was lovely after a long flight/ day. Tip- you can sign up to Wolt app to order a takeaway to be delivered to the hotel and you get 6euros off your first order (if your not signed up before) we ate on top of the rooftop bar which was lovely. You can also take your own drinks there as the bar is shut. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back. Room was small but very good for just the two of us. Fridge was great to store our drinks and keep cool. Towels changed everyday. No hair dryer but you can ask for one at reception. Breakfast basic but good for the price paid. Area was a great location to the hop on hop off bus, metro and easy walk to the acropolis. One street by the hotel had a few dodged characters but they didn’t bother us. Great local food- Lithos was a great place to eat and there were lots of other places to eat in that area about 15 minute walk from hotel. Very reasonable price. I ignored the negative reviews as I wanted to find out for myself and I have to say for a city break it was brilliant. You need to remember you are in a city and there will always be negative things. I personally thought it was a clean area with only a few dodgy looking people, that being said they didn’t bother you at all so what’s the harm? Lots of cities have undesirables. Don’t let that put you off!! The hop on hop off bus was great way to get around and we loved the tour to Cape Sunion to see the temple of Poseidon, I would recommend.

The hotel is located in a good area as in no more than a 30 minute walk to all the major attractions and monuments, however the hotel is not the best when it comes to comfort the walls are very industrial in our room, was expecting a coffee machine in the room this was not there when asking at reception the staff said would get one put in (but there is a coffee machine in the place you go for breakfast) the coffee machine never turned up also was supposed to have slippers and a bathrobe they where not there, on receiving our door card the person on the desk said if we needed any assistance just dial 9 on the phone, there was no phone in our room, on the good side the breakfast was sufficient the usual continental meats cheese bread cereal’s and alike. All in all was a good holiday but should not be advertising things and not supplying them.

On arrival we reported there was no coffee machine in the room.we was told don't worry we will get one the following day.it didn't arrive!! There was no bathrobes or slippers as advertised.the fridge didn't work,no phone and the curtains didn't close properly.we didn't report all this as the coffee machine was never sorted so no point.regardless the staff were good.breakfast is continental so as expected.the area really isn't that bad at all.did see a needle on the floor near the square so watch were your stepping it's like many city's.some very good restaurants around the area and felt very safe.the roof has fantastic views and can see the acropolis in the distance.i would not stay in this hotel again but the area is not to worry about, plenty of police about.quite noisy on a night from the outside take ear plugs.(Thank me later).good location regardless to what other people have said.me and my brother stuck to the main roads so didn't see any of the stuff mentioned in other review,other than the discarded needle.
