We had a wonderful stay at Vincci Ever Eden Hotel! The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very relaxing. The rooms were comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was well organized, and we truly enjoyed our time there. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Athens!

Had to spend a few nights in Athens as there were no flights available from the island we were on to Athens on the days leading to our return to New York. I chose this hotel even though its location is somewhat remote since I was traveling with my ten-year-old son and it seemed family-friendly and has an aqua park. Check-in was very chaotic. We arrived very early due to the timing of our flight from the island. Even though I joined the Vincci membership program since it touted early check-in and late check-out, they were not able to accommodate an early check-in, so we waited for hours in the heat. They did not offer us a place to change into bathing suits in order to use the facilities during this time. They could not even give us an estimate as to when the room would be ready. They just said they would call and let me know when it was ready. Five hours later, when I had not received a call, I called them and they said, “Oh, it’s ready.” We had upgraded to a deluxe sea-view room, which seemed much larger on the website. In reality, it was very small, and the bed was very uncomfortable. The hotel also has very strict times for meals. By the time we came down to dinner, the only thing available was the buffet. You had to purchase your ticket for it before entering. The buffet was very limited and mediocre. The price of the buffet did not include any drinks, not even water. You had to go to the bar, order your drinks, and pay separately. They would not charge them to the room. The package I purchased specifically said “bed and breakfast” and stated that it included buffet breakfast. However, at check-in, they told us breakfast would be $38 per person. We chose to just order à la carte at the pool instead. The selection there is very limited. You can’t get breakfast after 11 a.m., and the options are mostly salads, pizza, and club sandwiches. The beach was another disappointment. All of the umbrellas and chairs were fully booked every day. Apparently, even hotel guests must pay in advance to secure an umbrella and chair. So despite paying for this “4-star hotel,” I had to put my towel on the sand to sit at the beach. Speaking of towels, they are very stingy with them. You need to present your towel card to get a towel, and they keep the card until you return the towel. You cannot get more than one towel. The place is also dead after 11 p.m. The only entertainment was live music for a few hours early in the evening, which ends around 11:30. After that, there is nothing, and there isn’t anything within walking distance to do. Our last night was particularly frustrating. We were kept up all night by a loud beeping in the room. Apparently, the battery had not been changed in the smoke detector, so the alarm went off all night. The next morning, I messaged the concierge through the app twice to let them know that I had been misinformed at check-in that the breakfast buffet would be $38 per person. I also confirmed with Expedia that I had purchased a package that included breakfast. Since I had already spent hundreds of dollars on à la carte meals at the hotel, I requested some form of credit because we were not provided the breakfast that was supposed to be included. I messaged three times and still had not received a response 10 hours later. The experience with the aqua park and restaurant was also frustrating. At the beach that day, we purchased an all-day pass for my son for the aqua park. When he got hungry, he asked me to order him a burger. I asked for it to go so I could bring it to the beach and he could enjoy the water park while I waited for it, since the day before he had wasted two hours of his beach day waiting for the slow service at the beach restaurant. They said burgers were not on the to-go menu and that he would have to sit in the restaurant if he wanted a burger. The to-go menu was very limited and only included things like chips and toast. So he said he would sit there and eat. We had to go back to our beach towel to dress because the restaurant has a dress code. We returned five minutes later to order the burger, and they said, “Sorry, the grill closed and we don’t have burgers on the current menu.” I was not told this before. I explained what we had gone through just to get my son the burger. After asking multiple people for permission to make my son a burger two minutes after the grill had closed, they agreed. I specifically explained that he is very picky and only wanted a plain beef patty with cheese and tomato, with no sauce. After a long wait, the burger came out with onions and BBQ sauce. He couldn’t eat it, so he just ate the fries. While he was eating the fries, another server came over to tell us that this section was closing, so we had to move. I said okay and asked for the check. When the check came, they charged the full price of the smash burger, which included the onions and BBQ sauce, despite the fact that we had not ordered it that way. When I questioned the charge, they said they did not have plain patties on the menu, so it was the same price as the burger on the menu. €18 for a burger that came out incorrectly and that my son could not eat. They did not even offer to discount it despite the fact that their mistake was the reason he could not eat the burger. The food is very expensive here for how poor the quality is. The only good thing we ate was at the sushi restaurant, but we spent €100 for a few pieces of sushi, one roll, one tempura appetizer, and a noodle dish. It’s a shame because the property itself is beautiful, with lovely views and very nice pools. The beach is also very nice, except for the issue of not being able to get chairs without paying to reserve them in advance. I am thankful for the aqua park, which my son really enjoyed. Other than the aqua park, the beautiful views, and the pools, the hotel was very disappointing in terms of food and service.

My girlfriend and I were going to spend six days at a hotel close to the beach with a sea view. Hotel EverEden was able to offer exactly that. When we arrived, our first impression was very positive. The hotel itself was beautiful and modern. We were offered help with our luggage, and when we were trying to find one of the pools and could not locate it straight away, we were offered a ride there in a golf cart. The beach was only a short walk away, and there were always plenty of available sun loungers. The same was true around the pools – there was always space available. There was no need to get up early in the morning and rush to secure a sun lounger. We may, of course, have been lucky that the hotel was not particularly full during our stay. The food at the Japanese restaurant by the pool was excellent! The food at the other restaurants connected to the hotel was also very good. The breakfast and dinner buffets were as expected, and the pizza was excellent. The gym was also well equipped, although unfortunately there were far too many people wanting to work out in the mornings, which made it very crowded. Unfortunately, there were also a few things that negatively affected our stay. First and foremost, we were not satisfied with the service. On several occasions, we felt that the level of service was below what should reasonably be expected from a hotel of this standard. Several times, we had to wait a long time after sitting down at one of the hotel’s restaurants before anyone attended to us. For example, we might choose a table with a nice view even though it had not yet been cleared, and it could then take an unreasonably long time before anyone came to clear it. On a couple of occasions, we actually had to ask someone to do so ourselves. On one occasion, we ordered a starter and two main courses. We were specifically asked whether we wanted the starter first, followed by the main courses, and we explicitly said yes. Instead, the starter arrived together with one of the main courses, while the second main course arrived 5–10 minutes later. Unfortunately, this kind of issue was fairly consistent throughout our stay. There seemed to be a lack of clear structure and organisation among the waiting staff, and they appeared to have difficulty prioritising their tasks. For example, they might choose to clear another table rather than take our order even though we had already been waiting for quite some time. When we asked for a menu, a waitress told us she would get one for us, but then went on to do other things first, even though she could practically have just reached over and picked up the menu before continuing with her other tasks. Overall, the service came across as very unprofessional. Unfortunately, we also felt that several members of the waiting staff were no more welcoming or friendly than the bare minimum required, and on three separate occasions we specifically noticed and reacted to the lack of friendliness. The final point I would mention is that smoking is unfortunately allowed almost everywhere at the hotel – by the pool, on the beach, at the restaurants, and in the outdoor dining areas during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Anyone who is bothered by cigarette smoke should therefore be aware of this before booking.

I just had a wonderful time at their beautiful and relaxing spa. The staff are so friendly and helpful. My services included a massage and facial. The therapist was wonderful and performed a relaxing session. I followed with a facial which included lymphatics and sweet smelling natural products. I highly recommend this service to your relaxing vacation.
