Koia All-Suite Wellbeing Resort

What a wonderful resort this is - a hidden gem! We took a last minute half term break with our 17yr old daughter, and had a deluxe suite with pool. Admittedly I didn’t do too much research and discovered it was aimed at couples! That’s said we felt more than welcomed as a family - all of the staff here are truly amazing nothing is too much trouble. We had a little mix up over rooms on arrival but this was sorted out within 24 hrs and moved into another suite. Yes the pool was cold but meh once you’re in you’re in! Sunbeds really comfy and sumptuous but umbrella is very heavy to move so mind your toes! Given how late was in the season the weather was very mixed so didn’t get to see the pebble beach in its finest glory and to be honest it didn’t look too appealing but it was a grey and miserable day! On the sunny days we utilised our private beds/pool etc. ⭐️ Tip: Suite 207 gets the sun all day - a fabulous room!! Restaurant staff are especially accommodating and attentive . The resort was winding down for winter and not very busy so I imagine the staff might be under much more pressure at peak but they were very pleasant. Breakfast has to be the most impressive I’ve seen at a hotel…there was nothing more you could possibly wish for. Like others we found the dinner menu a little repetitive but, swapped from dinner to luncheon which suited us perfectly halfway through the holiday. Lunch/bar menu much more casual. ⭐️ Tip: take your own teabags if you like tea as the black tea is in fact earl grey (which I like but also breakfast tea would’ve been nice with breakfast). We found housekeeping excellent although the evening service calls with the little gifts of soap and face masks were slightly bemusing but welcomed with the spirit in which they were given. One improvement maybe is the robes are one size and a tad on the small side 🙈 Spa was heveanly with the indoor pool being very warm like bath water and Georgia is a very skilled therapist. We also used their car service to go into Kos town one evening which was most convenient and only slightly more than a local taxi. We didn’t use the buggy services other than for transportation if our luggage but we were offered lifts (especially when it rained!). All in all this is an outstanding resort and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Well done to management and all the staff 🫶⭐️

Amazing surreal beautiful just wow , watched as this resort grew from a building site to the gorgeous resort it becomes as of now We are regular visitors to Kos and fortunate to have stayed in hotels on the island that have that wow factor Then you stay at Koia Just beautiful tranquil and absorbing Our 8 night stay in a luxurious pool suite with views far reaching across the bay were amazing but the people make this place amazing ,all so friendly and just happy to see you and vise versa Thank you all We will be back ♥️

My boyfriend and I stayed at Koia on the 17th of October for 5 nights. We arrived quite late approximately 00.45am Jet2 stated on arrival we recieve a complimentary bottle of champagne and a choice of a free fruit platter or cheese/biscuit board. We did not receive that, we had two medium sized cobs/baps (we did not eat them) we saw crisps and mixed nuts we had those. This was not explained that it was chargeable. The staff were very polite and helpful, I cannot fault the customer service. Very attentive and kind. We stayed in room 510 private pool with a sea view. These are the cons, we sadly could not use our private pool the entire vacation. It is not heated, when I asked if it could be heated a member of staff advised it takes 2 days and it won't be that warm. The air con and heat was a big issue for 2 nights we were cold it did not work properly. Very disappointed & upset to see messy brown dried corrosion on the floor. After asking for it to be cleaned eventually a cleaner tried her best to clean it. The sparkling & still water they offer you at the Thyme restaurant is €5 they don't make this clear. One night very late approximately 23.00/23.30 there was a knock on the door, a woman said room service and just opened our door. This was highly inappropriate and made me feel uneasy. We did not request room service she gave us soap, very odd. Overall we had a relaxing time, the food was beautiful. However we would not return as we like to be walking distance from the main town.

I had a lovely five night stay here in a deluxe sea view suite with a wonderful private pool - and although in October the weather was variable it was lovely even in the rain. The staff were kind and helpful and the facilities both in the room (fabulous, light-filled and very comfortable) and generally were excellent. I made extensive use of the spa (recommended) and the treatments were excellent. The buggy service was really helpful (I was recovering from an injury so not fully mobile), and I felt totally safe and looked after. As a solo traveller looking for a peaceful break and a recharge they made me feel very welcome and it definitely hit the spot. Highly recommended and I hope to go back.

We recently stayed for seven days, on arrival to the resort we were warmly welcomed and the resort was impressive. We opted for half board, the breakfasts were sumptuous and to have them serve until 11.00am was an added bonus. The evening à la carte menu we found to be a little to overwhelming lots of cheese foam, and little dots of vegetable purée on the dishes, along with a strange cauliflower and coffee soup, we swerved after day three and decided to have the bar menu instead, traditional Greek dishes, they were very tasty. The staff we all extremely polite and eager to make your stay as perfect as they could. Some food for thought and consideration could be more choice in relation to alcohol free drinks, only three mocktails and one beer on offer, also the sea water private pools are now not heated, they were very cool, and the access steps were tricky to navigate. The private beach would benefit from some care, the area was very untidy and many cigarette butts seen around the sun beds it felt neglected. Housekeeping was hit and miss, we experienced not having the shower and hand basins cleaned on two occasions, with toothpaste marks left in the basins and soap residue left in the shower drain.
