Koia All-Suite Wellbeing Resort

My boyfriend and I stayed at Koia on the 17th of October for 5 nights. We arrived quite late approximately 00.45am Jet2 stated on arrival we recieve a complimentary bottle of champagne and a choice of a free fruit platter or cheese/biscuit board. We did not receive that, we had two medium sized cobs/baps (we did not eat them) we saw crisps and mixed nuts we had those. This was not explained that it was chargeable. The staff were very polite and helpful, I cannot fault the customer service. Very attentive and kind. We stayed in room 510 private pool with a sea view. These are the cons, we sadly could not use our private pool the entire vacation. It is not heated, when I asked if it could be heated a member of staff advised it takes 2 days and it won't be that warm. The air con and heat was a big issue for 2 nights we were cold it did not work properly. Very disappointed & upset to see messy brown dried corrosion on the floor. After asking for it to be cleaned eventually a cleaner tried her best to clean it. The sparkling & still water they offer you at the Thyme restaurant is €5 they don't make this clear. One night very late approximately 23.00/23.30 there was a knock on the door, a woman said room service and just opened our door. This was highly inappropriate and made me feel uneasy. We did not request room service she gave us soap, very odd. Overall we had a relaxing time, the food was beautiful. However we would not return as we like to be walking distance from the main town.

I had a lovely five night stay here in a deluxe sea view suite with a wonderful private pool - and although in October the weather was variable it was lovely even in the rain. The staff were kind and helpful and the facilities both in the room (fabulous, light-filled and very comfortable) and generally were excellent. I made extensive use of the spa (recommended) and the treatments were excellent. The buggy service was really helpful (I was recovering from an injury so not fully mobile), and I felt totally safe and looked after. As a solo traveller looking for a peaceful break and a recharge they made me feel very welcome and it definitely hit the spot. Highly recommended and I hope to go back.

We recently stayed for seven days, on arrival to the resort we were warmly welcomed and the resort was impressive. We opted for half board, the breakfasts were sumptuous and to have them serve until 11.00am was an added bonus. The evening à la carte menu we found to be a little to overwhelming lots of cheese foam, and little dots of vegetable purée on the dishes, along with a strange cauliflower and coffee soup, we swerved after day three and decided to have the bar menu instead, traditional Greek dishes, they were very tasty. The staff we all extremely polite and eager to make your stay as perfect as they could. Some food for thought and consideration could be more choice in relation to alcohol free drinks, only three mocktails and one beer on offer, also the sea water private pools are now not heated, they were very cool, and the access steps were tricky to navigate. The private beach would benefit from some care, the area was very untidy and many cigarette butts seen around the sun beds it felt neglected. Housekeeping was hit and miss, we experienced not having the shower and hand basins cleaned on two occasions, with toothpaste marks left in the basins and soap residue left in the shower drain.

We’ve just spent 10 heavenly days at KOIA, and what an experience it has been! The warmth of the Kos sunshine was only outmatched by the genuine warmth and friendliness of the staff. From reception and guest relations to the spa, restaurant, bar and grounds crew, everyone was so kind, cheerful and helpful. The resort itself blends beautifully into the natural hillside, offering understated luxury and breathtaking views. Our stunning room overlooking the Aegean Sea and Turkey was the epitome of comfort, and the food was simply out of this world, with delicious dishes and generous portions. We leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and incredibly grateful for such a special experience. KOIA has truly captured our hearts, and we would return in a heartbeat! 💙🌿

Wonderful service, food, and accommodation. Only issue we found was the ladder into the pool. It was far too short and probably need a couple more rungs on. This resulted in severe pressure on hour back getting in and out. Bars very quiet in evening which was a pity.
