Castello Boutique Suites by the Sea

Beautiful hotel. Rooms spotless. Staff so friendly and helpful. Beautiful location overlooking the sea, would definitely recommend a visit.

We have just got back from a week stay at Castello Boutique Suites by the Sea. We had a room with a private pool (worth paying extra for) & a side sea view. It was stunning; modern, clean with beautiful decor. The welcome staff in reception are lovely & very helpful, our first night we were greeted with a welcome cocktail & taken strsight down to the restaurant for dinner, perfect after a long journey. Like other reviews say, the food is amazing. We went half board & me and my partner agreed that is the best hotel food we have ever eaten. We love eating out at local restaurants but the food here is so good it actually makes it difficult to leave. Whilst some options are paid extra for, we found there was still plenty of choice. The staff in the restaurant are lovely as well and provide a great service. The pool is beautiful and the cocktails are divine. There is a local beach that we walked to and plenty of other restaurants & bars in Sissi, we tried Oliver's, Amelia's and the Cactus pub which are worth a visit. There is also a handy supermarket opposite as well as car rental which the hotel can help with. Overall, this hotel is practically faultless, I would not hesitate to come back again.

I stayed for 2 nights on a business trip and I can honestly say that the hotel is absolutely wonderful. Extremely comfortable with spacious rooms and great facilities. The restaurant and food are both excellent and the staff so helpful and pleasant. The hotel is extremely quiet and private and is a perfect retreat !

Lovely hotel, very relaxing and peaceful with limited guest rooms making it feel quite intimate with great, personal service from all the staff. Only downside to the hotel is the gym, For a spa hotel it’s really small with no air con and only small dumbbells and one treadmill that had a broken running belt. Rooms were spacious and modern and lunch was particularly good as part of the half board option. Special mention to Alexandra who was amazing, she arranged private airport transfers before we travelled and helped with car hire during our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her, a fabulous help from start to finish.

Just had a lovely 7 night stay at this hotel The staff were amazing special shout out to Alexandra. When we arrived we have some lovely complimentary cold drinks and Alexandra talked us through all the amenities for the hotel before showing us to our rooms. We were so lucky as we were upgraded to a lovely room with a swim up pool. Alexandra also arranged our taxi to and from the airport nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the adults area of the hotel which was great. Sissi is os lovely with lots of bars and taverns and the prices are really good with exceptional service. This is one hotel and area of Crete that we will definitely be coming back to .
