Elea Terra

První pobyt v tomto hotelu a milé překvapení. Moc hezký areál, čisto,spousta zeleně, hezký čistý bazén, opravdu klidová zóna. Prvotní zklamání z ubytování v přízemí vynahradila velká terasa a hezký čistý pokoj, vše fungovalo bez problémů, perfektní každodenní úklid. Snídaně v zahradě se mi líbily, všeho dostatek, výborná káva, čerstvý pomerančový džus, sladké, slané, každý si přišel na své. Moc ráda se někdy vrátím.

This is our third visit to Elea Terra Hotel in Matala. As always we received a warm welcome from Maria and her staff. The hotel is small, within pretty gardens. It has a peaceful laid back atmosphere. The pool area is never crowded or too busy. Again the atmosphere is low key with pleasant music playing, you can get a variety of drinks and snacks. The whole hotel and garden area is extremely clean and tidy. Don't come to this hotel expecting entertainment, evening band playing or loud music, you can experience this in Matala centre which caters for everyone but maintaining its alternative hippie theme. Maria and her staff focus on their guests having a peaceful, enjoyable, chilled out type of holiday and this hotel certainly delivers. To the reviewer who states there was no information about car hire. If you actually ventured outside the hotel there is a car hire place directly next to the hotel main entrance. There is a further car hire company 5 mins down the road towards the town Nick Holiday rentals which we use. As for excursions, there's a full colour folder next to reception full of excursions information so again to the negative reviewer ....do a bit of research it helps. The hotel is NOT basic as the negative reviewer stated it goes above and beyond its star rating. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a laid back, chilled holiday, in a lovely location and in a lovely hote. Very good location,nice staff..

Lovely hotel, nice pool area with beautiful gardens. Plenty of sunbeds to choose from too. We stayed in an upstairs room in the original block which was perfect for us. Nice and quiet with a balcony looking inland. Room was equipped with a fridge, TV, good, comfy bed and the air con was great - seemed to be a brand new unit. Plenty of hot water and the rooms were cleaned daily. We had a small issue on our arrival during the early hours, something to do with a missing key, so we were given a different room temporarily. This was all resolved quickly the next morning without any issues. We were offered to stay in this room which was a modern, upgraded room, but we opted to move to the upstairs one we had been allocated as we prefer to be upstairs. So if you choose the upgraded room, these too are lovely. All nicely decorated with a modern shower with screen - no clingy shower curtain in sight! Perfectly located in a quieter area of town, around an easy, flat 10-12 stroll to the main shops, bars and beach. All in all, a lovely hotel where we'd definitely stay again.

Stayed one week and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is located a few hundred meters from the towns center, and is very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is excellent, as were the cleaning. Pool area is spacious and it never got crowded. We never had problems finding sunbeds. The pool bar serves great food and beverages. Our room was big enough, beds were very comfortable. The staff are all very friendly and nice. Only negative thing was our bathroom, which was very small and rather shabby. But there were always plenty of hot wather in the shower. We really liked it a lot, and find it highly recommendable!
