Galaxy Suites Boutique Resort

An absolutely unforgettable stay — one of the best I have ever had! I booked the suite for just one night because my following hotels were already reserved, but from the moment I arrived, everything was perfect. The receptionist was incredibly warm and welcoming, and I was upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi, even though I had originally booked only the suite. I also received a lovely welcome gesture, including a very good bottle of wine. Someone came with me to show me around the room and explain everything — such thoughtful service. The room was beautiful, with gorgeous décor and Typology products provided. The sea view, even from a distance, was lovely. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice, and the restaurant staff were exceptionally kind and attentive — truly five-star service. I was also able to check in early and enjoy the pool while waiting for my room to be ready. At check-out, they kindly allowed me to stay and use the facilities for as long as I wanted, with a late check-out. Honestly, there is absolutely nothing to fault. I would happily return and highly recommend this place!

A bit of a late write up, we stayed in room 3 from the 26th September of seven nights. We found Galaxy Suites and Koutouloufari quite by chance, a question to AI wanting a hotel similar to The Contessena on Zante, which we absolutely loved. We were so lucky. Firstly, the hotel is amazing, the decor, the feel, the quality, the food and every single one of the staff cannot be faulted. I would add at this point that the week we stayed was possibly the worst weather we have ever experienced on holiday and the island had its worse storm for 40 years. We had a morning, one afternoon and a full day by the pool in the sunshine, the rest of the time was cloudy or raining. This speaks volumes for the hotel as even with the shocking weather the quality and welcome shone through. Our room was at the front of the hotel although the lounge opened up onto the main dining/pool area. Even though we were near the road we heard nothing, the room was very peaceful and quiet. The quality of the fittings is the room were fantastic and it was spotless and very well kept and maintained. The room was cleaned daily and top and coffee pods topped up. The cleaners were fantastic. We didn't eat in the evening and only dined at breakfast. The dining area has a great feel with the option to sit inside and out. Breakfast was the general continental fair with a mix of everything you would expect either hot or cold. Coffee was via a machine which was okay. Other guests were ordering feddo's but I did not, I should have, it is generally what I drink on holiday. The waiting staff are all very cheerful, happy and cannot do enough, such a great bunch and a credit to the hotel. The only thing I would have liked??? At this level I would have expected the option of a fresh omelette or poached eggs. But thats a very minor moan. Outside. The time we did manage to spend by the pool was great. It's peaceful and the areas are immaculate. We ordered drinks and lunch on our full day in the sun and again, service, quality and staff were all first class. Drink and food prices are a bit more than in the village but in our opinion very reasonable. We had Greek salad and gyros and both were exceptionally good. Now, the village. Koutouloufari is probably one of the most loveliest places we had ever stayed. The feel and vibe in the village is amazing. There are so many restaurants from traditional tavernas to places you would expect in nice areas of the UK. We ate in several and all were faultless. It's the same with the bars. The general holiday places and a couple of really nice cocktail bars. I really cannot press on how wonderful the village is. There is also the two other villages which are both great and very different to Koutouloufari. Both are worth a wander to for a drink or food, it's about one and half miles to OH but reasonably flat. If you fancy a 'seaside feel' it's a 15 minute walk into Hersonissos. You will find, cheap booze, food, brit bars and clothing shops selling fake rubbish. The walk back is steep but fine. For context we are both 60, but strength train and run 20+ miles per week, we are pretty fit. There is a small gym at the hotel we did use and we ran four times on holiday. We also walked to Stalis a couple of times (because it was cloudy) and grabbed a taxi to Malia one morning. We walked back to Koutouloufari it is about 7 miles but a pleasant route. We also went to the Natural History and Culture Museum for a morning which was great. To sum up, we were so impressed with Galaxy Suites Boutique Hotel that we will be returning in June/July. To go back to a hotel is something we simply do not do, this speaks absolute volumes for the hotel, the staff and our stay. Even when the weather was just so bad and should have had the opposite feel. Many thanks Galaxy Suites and looking forward to joining you next year.

A very nice place to have a holiday. Good buffet in the morning as well in the evening. Very friendly staff. Hotelroom with all you need...and the hotel is located in a cosy village.

We arrived at the hotel late (Midnight) as we had a delay coming in, the reception staff was lovely she showed us around, explained everything and also had food, bread, cakes, water and wine put in our room as we had missed dinner. Our room was amazing we had everything we could need and there was no expense spared on the décor, we had a hot tub room. Our room was cleaned to the highest standard every day and the fridge and coffee machine replenished with anything that was missing. the bed, towels and pool towels was also changed as needed, the toiletries in the room were luxury also to a high standard. We had breakfast and evening meal. When we arrived at breakfast we was greeted by the most welcoming man Stephenos, he was an amazing host and a credit to the hotel, he asked our names and addressed us every morning with our names and remembering our coffee order, all of the staff are amazing we could not fault any of them. They are very smiley and accommodating, ensuring you have the best time. The cleaners work incredibly hard to make sure everyone is comfortable and having the best and relaxing time. The food was plentiful and there was so much choice at breakfast and evening meal. The kitchen staff were constantly checking food was available and when it was getting low were repeatedly replenishing it. The hotel was central to Koutouloufari village and there was so much to see and do, it was a very magical village and very traditional, with lots of tavernas and bars.

We had a wonderful stay here in a suite with sea view. The jacuzzi on the terrace was heaven. The whole resort is very tastefully designed. We only ate breakfast at the hotel which was great. The staff at the hotel was so helpful and friendly. The best! Furthermore the small streets around the hotel are so cozy with many nice cafes and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here.
