10/10. Prostě perfektní

Navštívili jsme tu každou noc naší dovolené pro fantastické koktejly a krásný výhled na moře. Skvělé služby všech zaměstnanců, hotel sám vypadá skvěle, i když jsme tentokrát nezůstali, ale určitě si ho příště rezervujeme. Stojí za návštěvu

We stayed at Glaros Royal Beach for 11 days at the end of August 2026, and overall, I would rate our stay 3 out of 5 stars. For a four-star hotel, I personally don’t think the property fully meets the standard I would expect from a four-star hotel. That said, there are definitely some things we really liked about the property. The Hotel & Room The hotel itself looks very nice, modern, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. The common areas are beautifully designed, and there is a lovely veranda right in front of the hotel where you can sit and enjoy the atmosphere. One of the biggest advantages of the location is that the sea is literally right across the street. You can walk out of the hotel, cross the road, and you are immediately by the water. The views from the lobby are also beautiful, especially when sitting and relaxing there. The hotel has a very pleasant overall appearance, and throughout our stay there were no unpleasant smells or cleanliness issues in the common areas. The bathroom and the room themselves are also modern and nicely designed. The room was actually one of the positives. It was large, spacious, and nicely decorated. The room was cleaned every day, which we appreciated. However, there was one issue with the towels. For three days in a row, among the clean towels provided, I received a towel with visible stains. In my opinion, these looked like stains that simply had not come out properly during washing. I understand that the towels are supplied by an external company, so this may not be directly the hotel’s fault, but I still believe the hotel should check the quality of what is being placed in guests’ rooms. Towels with visible stains should not be provided at a four-star hotel. There were also several maintenance issues in the room. For example, the bathroom exhaust fan was not working properly. There were just wires sticking out of it, making it look unfinished. Only one of the lights above the sink was working, and the sink leaked from underneath around the drain pipe when we tried to rinse our swimsuits. The soundproofing was also very poor. The walls are very thin, and the doors are not properly sealed. The room door itself was especially frustrating because you had to slam it shut to make sure it was actually locked. It could look closed, but unless you pushed it firmly, it could simply open again. There is a TV in the room, but there are very few English-language channels. Wi-Fi is only free in the lobby. If you want Wi-Fi in your room, you have to pay €3 per day, which I find completely unreasonable for a four-star hotel. The safe also costs an additional €3 per day, which again feels excessive for a hotel of this category. The bed itself was very comfortable, although it is not actually one large mattress. It consists of two separate beds pushed together, so they have a tendency to slide apart. There are two pillows to choose from, but both were extremely high and firm for my personal preference. The room does have a kettle and two glasses, but there are no teaspoons and no tea or coffee provided. Again, for a four-star hotel, I found this quite bizarre. As far as security goes, I would say it is adequate. There are cameras in the hallways, and the reception is not staffed 24/7. A receptionist is present from around 7 a.m. until approximately 11 p.m. or midnight, after which the hotel is accessed using a key card. Location & Dining Options Another major positive is the hotel’s location and the restaurant associated with the property. The hotel is connected to one of the most beautiful restaurants in the area, with outdoor seating right by the sea and beautiful lighting in the evening. We did not have our meals there as part of our package, but hotel guests receive a 25% discount if they choose to dine there. It is a more upscale and prestigious place, and reservations are required. During our stay, it was consistently very busy and appeared to be fully booked most of the time. One of our biggest complaints, however, is that the main all-inclusive services are not actually at Glaros Royal Beach. Meals are served at the sister property, Glaros Beach, which is about 200 meters away. Guests can use the all-inclusive services there, including the evening bar and swimming pool. Glaros Royal Beach does have its own pool, but there is also a very small rooftop pool with only around 6–8 loungers and no umbrellas. It was almost always full, so it was not really a practical option. There is also an agreement with Soso Anastasia Star Hotel & Spa, where guests can use the gym. Calling it a gym is honestly a bit of a stretch. It is a small basement room with no windows and an old air-conditioning unit. There are some dumbbells, two stationary bikes, one treadmill, and one suspension training system. That’s basically it. Overall, I would describe the accommodation itself as average. The hotel looks beautiful, modern, and clean, and its location directly across from the sea is a major plus. However, the fact that the main services are located at another hotel, some things I would expect to be included in a four-star hotel cost extra, and even the gym is located at a third property made the overall experience feel less like a true four-star stay. Food & All-Inclusive The food selection was also fairly average. They do make an effort to include Greek cuisine, but there was a very strong emphasis on pork. There was fish every day, as well as chicken, and occasionally rabbit or veal. There were also some vegetarian options. The desserts were more or less the same every day. They sometimes changed the topping or decoration, but the basic cream and desserts were often very similar. The ice cream selection was also always the same. Pasta was served very frequently, with spaghetti and Bolognese sauce being a particularly common option. The salads were sometimes disappointing as well. At times, it felt like they were simply mixing together whatever was left over from other dishes. They would combine all sorts of ingredients, and the salads were not always well seasoned. Another major issue for us was drinking water. There was no readily available drinking water at the hotel, not even at the reception or throughout the day. We had to buy bottled water ourselves. As part of the all-inclusive service, in the morning the only water available was from the beverage machine, the same machine used for the juice drinks. So it was essentially water dispensed from the beverage machine. Tea and coffee were also available. At lunch, you could specifically order water, beer, juice, or the other drinks included in the all-inclusive package. Anything outside of the included drinks had to be paid for separately, and the same applied at dinner.
