GRECOTEL LUX.ME White

Pobyt předčil naše očekávání, včetně reality komplexu. Personál byl velmi vstřícný, ochotný a proaktivní. Velmi jsme si vážili trpělivosti při komunikaci a nadstatndartních služeb včetně all inclusive. Máme v plánu se někdy vrátit, nebo minimálně navštívit další z komplexu hotelů Grecotel, vždy skvělá zkušenost. Byli jsme překvapeni milou pozorností, ve formě dortu, k našemu výročí svatby. Hotel můžeme jen doporučit!

Absolutně skvělý resort s výbornými službami, skvělým umístěním a senzačním personálem, který je velmi kamarádský, vím, že je to v recenzích již určité klišé, ale zde je to FAKT, který se nesmí opomenout! Jezdíme zpravidla ve větším počtu osob, ale uvědomila jsem si, že kdybych z jakýchkoliv důvodů jela jednou úplně sama, cítila bych se zde jako mezi přáteli !!!! Velmi ráda bych zmínila zejména neustále usměvavého Nikolaje s jeho humorem a perfektním servisem na pláži, Manuela v Long Beach bar a celý tým v Sunset Lounge Bar. Děkujeme za skvělý přístup a služby a rozhodně DOPORUČUJI a těším se na příští rok!!!!

Our family of five (incl. three girls ages 9 and 11) just returned from our two-week family holiday to Grecotel LUXME White, Crete, and we couldn't be happier with our experience from beginning to end. There wasn't one thing that we'd change about the resort, it was completely perfect. But the magic that will make it a significantly memorable holiday for our family was thanks to the people we met and the dedication of the staff. They were absolutely incredible - everyone was friendly, kind, considerate and welcoming. There were some people who made a particularly strong impression on us and deserve some shout outs... 1) A huge thank you to Wido and Mike from Dr Ben, Mum (Ellie), Eva, Aria and Leila :-) They were in charge of the Entertainment Team (for kids and adults), and they put on an AMAZING show for the whole two weeks. They were such a kind and friendly duo, always making sure people knew what was on the agenda, and making sure everyone felt included, whatever their ability. There was a great variety of adult entertainment on offer - from the music and dance shows in the evenings, to daily table tennis and darts tournaments during the day. The children's entertainment was also excellent. Held in the garden theatre area, there was the daily kids disco (which my girls LOVED!), run by Wido and the fabulous 'Grecoland Ladies' as the girls called them (more on them in a minute). The Imagination Station (circus show) and Luna Park (interactive event) were great fun and the kids have taken away some wonderful memories from those gorgeous warm evenings. 2) A special thank you to the lovely 'Grecoland Ladies' - Marie, My, Alba, Martina, Hannah, Klairie - who made my three girls feel very welcome. They taught them some new craft skills (bracelet making, weaving, baking cookies), as well as some great fun activities such as grass hockey, kubb and dodgeball. The great thing about Grecoland at LUXME White is that it's just next to a lovely shaded shallow kids pool, as well as the bigger activity pool, where you can relax while the children play nicely at the kids club (useful for kids who might be nervous about being left alone). There is also a bar there where you can usefully order drinks and lunch to your sun lounger. It's worth knowing that Wido and the Grecoland Ladies speak many European languages (Greek, English, French, Spanish, German). 3) George was a fantastic host at the main buffet restaurant, welcoming our family with such a friendly smile every day and always finding us a good table. One day, he surprised our girls with a giant plate of ice cream sundae, we were so grateful for his hospitality and kindness. 4) Maria (the tall, blonde lady) was a lovely waitress who was always very welcoming to us and the girls when we went to the Sunset Bar for our late afternoon drink and game of UNO. As well as our late evening drinks with the friends we made. 5) Yanis was our waiter at the pool every day - always friendly and even bringing drinks over to the table tennis area where we spent many an afternoon in the lovely shaded area. 6) Costas was an excellent, friendly barman (with an impressive moustache!), who was very accommodating and good at multi-tasking. He would always get the girls glasses of water and their favourite passion sunrise mocktails very quickly! 7) Angela was our cleaner and always very smiley and friendly in the morning as wel walked out of our room for breakfast. She did an amazing job of making the room feel like we'd just moved in, every day. Of course we only mention the people we made a connection with, but every staff member was friendly and made a huge impact on our holiday. Thank you all very much. A couple of other things to mention: - As a family of five we needed to have a family room with an extra single bed, which fitted well in the room and didn't feel overcrowded. (We had a 'Family Room with Garden View). - Restaurants - the main buffet had a fantastic selection of food that changed daily (the salad selection was amazing and the children ate a wide selection of the foods), and the Greek food restaurant (Tavernaki) was our favourite. The Asia White was also lovely. - Agreco Farm - you MUST book this restaurant, it was an amazing experience to visit the farm (10 mins up the road - shuttle bus available). - Air conditioning - it was very good air con in the rooms, always cool enough and you could turn it up if you wanted a boost! - Beaches - on previous Greek island holidays, we had been a little disappointed with the beaches being stoney but the beach at LUXME White was lovely and sandy. There is a good area for snorkeling and the watersports were fun (the girls enjoyed the banana boat ride that they took with Grecoland Ladies at a discounted price!) - Turtle nesting in Rethymno - there is a great NGO operating in the area that looks after the nesting sea turtles called Archelon. We did an evening beach walk to look at the nesting sites, which we all really enjoyed. You can find more info here: https://archelon.gr/en/project-areas/crete-rethymno - Water park - at reception, you can book to go to the neighbouring Grecotel resort water park, which was a big highlight for us. It wasn't too busy, and they have a good selection of slides, depending on your bravery levels. There is a separate area for little children with some gentle slides. When you arrive, you're given a towel and you can take drinks and lunch snacks from the pool bar. We did venture out on a couple of trips - fishing trip in Rethymno, as well as visiting the town - but we enjoyed the resort so much we were quite happy to stay there most of the time!! I highly recommend the Grecotel LUXME White and it is the best of the Grecotel resorts we have been to (we also went to Grecotel in Corfu and Kos). Just spent a week at this resort and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had two swim-up rooms which each had access to a very long pool that was shared with about 8 other rooms. The water was warm, the pool always clean, and it was great to have access right outside our door. The rooms were very clean. Always stocked with fresh water and soft drinks. The main hotel pool is stunning -- it looks exactly like the pictures on the website. Lounge chairs are large and comfortable; the pool never got over-crowded. The beach is nice -- there are several areas where the sandy-bottom and calm water make swimming easy and fun. The food quality was quite high at both the main dining room and the specialty restaurants. Every single staff member -- from front desk to housekeeping, hosts/hostesses in the restaurants, waiters/waitresses -- was warm, friendly, welcoming, and happy to do whatever they could to make our stay comfortable. So this was a positive experience, and I would definitely consider returning. Some points for the hotel to work on: it can take quite long to receive coffee, bar orders, etc. Slightly quicker service would be appreciated. Also, I had the suspicion that some of the alcohol in mixed drinks was watered down. Overall, though, a fantastic vacation!

Had everything we needed, staff were all polite. Views amazing. Would definitely return but maybe try one of the other locations
