Numo Ierapetra Beach Resort

We enjoyed our stay at NUMO, but overall it didn't exceed our expectations. The lunches were consistently excellent, but the breakfast experience could have been much better. At a 5-star hotel, guests shouldn't have to queue at a self-service station just to get tea or coffee. I also think the website should be updated to reflect that the evening à la carte restaurant is currently closed. I was already aware of this before arriving because I'd read it in another guest's review, but on arrival we were told it was closed for maintenance. Given that the resort is closed for six months of the year, it seems strange that this maintenance is being carried out during the peak summer season. We tried the buffet dinner on one evening but weren't impressed, especially considering the price of €35 per person. As a result, we chose to dine outside the hotel for the rest of our stay. The service at the bar was also disappointing, and it was surprising that pool towels weren't available until 10:00 a.m. each morning. The live music around the pool during the day was very good. Would be nice to have some evening entertainment/atmosphere. My biggest concern, however, was the cleanliness of our private pool. It was extremely dirty throughout the first few days of our stay. I raised the issue on the fourth day, and while a staff member did carry out a more thorough clean of the sides, the pool should have been maintained to a much higher standard from the outset. For a 5-star Curio Collection property, I expected much better attention to detail.

Beautiful hotel, amazing location, friendly staff, and a very relaxing atmosphere. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!

The hotel is nice, warm welcome. Breakfast is good. But The rules and regulations of the hotel made me feel I’m in a military camp. Pool Towels to be collected at 10am, no food after 4pm on the beach or you go to your room and order room service, pool closes at 6pm. It didn’t feel like on a vacation staying in the hotel. The hotel didnt reflect the Cretan spirit nor the hospitality.

We had a wonderful holiday at Numo Hilton , the hotel was amazing and spotlessly clean . The staff were fantastic, friendly and very helpful . We couldn’t fault the food. Very fresh and replaced very quickly if anything was empty . Beautiful location with the mountains in the background . DJ on the Saturday was a great addition. Outdoor cinema was also a lovely touch . Special shout out to Maria in the restaurant, and Manos , Wendy and the rest of the team at the bar , who worked incredibly hard . Overall this is probably one of the best holidays we have had , very relaxing and chilled . The room was beautiful, we booked the Aterre retreat Double room with balcony, however it was a little on the small side , with very little storage for clothes etc,But this didn’t detract from our amazing holiday at Numo .

An exceptional resort and hotel. Every detail is thought through and from the delicious cuisine to the beautiful room every element is delightful and luxurious. The spaces are perfectly manicured, ensuring there is something for everyone from the dining, the gardens, spa, to the two pools, to the saxophonist and evening outdoor films. The customer service is attentive, kind and thoughtful, nothing is too much to ensure your stay is everything you wished for. Highly recommend this little piece of heaven on the Crete coastline. Stunning!
