We spent one week at this very beautiful and comfortable hotel. The interiors are stylish and modern, the sea view is relaxing, the food is tasty and refined and staff welcoming.

We came here as a family and enjoyed the stay. The staff was really friendly and helpful. You could contact them via WhatsApp and they arrangend pretty much everything for you; a Taxi, a Reservation, change of bedding the list goes on. We only booked for breakfast which in our opinion was wonderful. It had various bread, yogurt, spreads, sweet cakes and greek dishes. We booked a room with a private pool which was very much appreciated. The hotel has two big pools one which was adults only and one for kids. You could grab towels at every pool and also at the beach. The beach was beautiful, very kind staff. You reach the beach through a gate by foot or call the reception and they would drive you down with a buggy. We highly suggest to hire a car because the old town of Rethymno is a 20 minute drive away and nearby the hotel is pretty much nothing. Sadly we also have a few negative reviews: 1. We ate dinner at the hotel three times; one time at the buffet Restaurant, one time at the Cretan Restaurant and one time at the Grill Restaurant. Out of all three the buffet Restaurant was the best to be honest. 2. The room service is not avaiable 24/7. The menus on the Hotel App said that there is Room Service from 11pm-7am. But the reception told us straight away that this is not the case. We arrived very late at our frist day past 11pm because of flight delays and told the Hotel that we were there late, they didn't provide us with a late dinner or something. We also were really sad that no Restaurant or Bar served tradional Gyros. You could get Pizza, Burger, Fries at the pool. 3. The Hotel was opened in 2025, we vistited one year later and at some stairs in the pool there was rust, in the elevator at the pool was rust. 4: There was a bad smell everywhere outside from the toilet facility, it was so bad sometimes we were in agony.

We visited Oros as a family of four for our family-moon, kids’ ages 10 and 6. By far the most impressive hotel we have stayed in, mainly in terms of the food which was absolutely outstanding but also the cleanliness, how modern the buildings and rooms are and the relaxed atmosphere - no fighting for sunbeds. Staff very helpful on arrival - a welcome drink, help with cases plus a cake in the fridge with ‘happy honeymoon’ as well as a bottle of Prosecco, a lovely touch. Staff were all very helpful and we were greeted politely every day, a lot of staff made a fuss of the kids which makes a big difference. I have uploaded some of the pictures of the food, even the buffet food was amazing every day, desserts in particular were outstanding. The two restaurants (Yaku and Madaros, we did not visit pool grill) were absolutely beautiful, as well as faultless service and views - our holiday highlights. The Greek salad and Caesar salads served by the pools every day were also of a very high standard. Huge selection of drinks and the best margaritas I’ve ever had at the lobby bar! We did change rooms on day 2 after arriving as zone 4 with 2 young children was quite far away from most amenities, although the views were beautiful. We changed to zone 1 near the park and gym which was of the same excellent standard, the downside was road noise that we didn’t quite get used to. Staff were accommodating and helpful with this change. Our only two small gripes which would not put us off booking again were 1) not having app access to order drinks by the pool and beach, which we chased up every day and was not resolved. 2) kids club is very basic. The staff are great and enthusiastic however the facilities they have to work with are limited and we did expect a higher standard to say younger children are excluded from the main pool area as a compromise. Nevertheless the kids did attend some sessions and enjoyed them. Some lights at the park for after dark would be great too for the older kids. All in all, we had a very memorable stay here and are excited to book back up next year once August prices are available.
