Pilot Amphora Boutique

We had an absolutely wonderful 4-night stay at Pilot Amphora Boutique Hotel in Crete, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The hotel has such a beautiful boutique atmosphere — stylish, elegant, peaceful, and full of character. Everything has clearly been thoughtfully designed, creating a really special and relaxing environment. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We particularly appreciated the attention to the little details. The toiletries were excellent and, such a thoughtful touch, they were replenished every day. Our bottle of water was also restocked daily, which was incredibly convenient and showed just how attentive the hotel is to its guests. Housekeeping was impeccable throughout our stay, and coming back to a beautifully clean and refreshed room each day really added to the experience. We stayed on a half-board basis, and the evening dining experience was exceptional. Every evening we were treated to a delicious 5-course meal, with each course beautifully presented and absolutely full of flavour. The quality of the food was outstanding, and it was clear that so much care and thought went into every dish. Our only “downside” — and this is entirely personal — was that we simply couldn’t manage to eat everything! The portions and number of courses were so generous, and everything was so delicious that I genuinely felt bad leaving anything behind. It really was that good! Our final evening was particularly special, with a saxophonist playing live music while we enjoyed our dinner. It was such a lovely and unexpected touch and created a wonderful atmosphere for our last night. Dining to beautiful live saxophone music was the perfect way to end an already fantastic stay and made the evening feel really memorable. Breakfast was another highlight — fresh, delicious, beautifully presented, and the perfect way to start each day. Having such wonderful food included as part of our stay made the whole experience even more special. The staff deserve a special mention. They were genuinely friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay, always happy to assist and make sure we had everything we needed. Their warmth and hospitality really made the experience feel personal. After four nights, we honestly didn’t want to leave. Pilot Amphora Boutique Hotel is the kind of place that turns a holiday into a memorable experience. It combines beautiful design, comfort, exceptional food, excellent service, and genuine Cretan hospitality perfectly. We would absolutely stay here again and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to stay in Crete. A truly wonderful hotel and a fantastic experience from beginning to end!

We had an amazing time staying here for our five day visit to Crete. The service was excellent, the facilities great, and the food was five star. I would recommend this hotel for other couples looking for a relaxing getaway.

Traveled solo to this beautiful hotel early September. Arrived evening check in was superb . Morning went for breakfast and at 9am zero towels out round the gorgeous pool area. Very refreshing to see. Spent the first day there and could hear a pin drop it was so quiet. Perfect if you want to just wind down. Breakfast was superb also. Eggs Benedict 👌the staff were so lovely and always greeted me with a big smile and after 1 day knew my name and had the coffee I love on the table without asking. 😀 rooms are beautiful and always spotless when you arrive back after a hard days sunbathing 😀 the food in the evening was probably the best I’ve ever had , anywhere. 5 courses of great tasty meals to much really but I managed it because I liked it so much I found room. 👌great gym aswel which suited me perfectly. Location was also perfect as the main square just round the corner. Beaches also lovely. Can also get the bus to the other hotel. Did that once but to many children tbf. Just like piece snd quite but obviously not everyone’s taste. Would definitely return as it was just what I needed before getting back to doom and gloom uk.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel that I would highly recommend. We spent 9 nights here on a B &B basis. We arrived in the early hours and was warmly greeted and quickly shown to our room and sandwiches and water kindly provided. The room was large and spotlessly clean with a lovely Mountain View. Breakfast was plentiful with freshly squeezed orange juice and tea or coffee served to your table by friendly staff. The pool area was very relaxing with nobody hogging the sunbeds! You could order drinks and food to your sun loungers or as we did , sit and order from a great menu in the restaurant. The beach is around 5/10mins stroll from the hotel or you can use the shuttle service to the sister hotel to make use of their extensive array of sunbeds. Everything is a couple of mins walk to local tavernas, shops and bars. On the last day we had a very late flight home (midnight) and the manager kindly let us have our room for the entire day! This gave us a bonus day and was very much appreciated! The hotel, the staff and the food is what makes this hotel and is one of the best 5 star hotels we have stayed in.

Boutique hotel in a pretty Greek traditional village with a few lovely tavernas within walking distance. Beach is also walkable from the hotel. Hotel itself very clean and modern, our room was different in a good way with a reasonable view. Breakfast was very good we had the evening meal on one occasion which was excellent. Very pleasant stay thank you.
