Casa Cook Samos

We visited in August as a family of 4 with 2 swim up rooms. Arrival was great due to proximity to airport. Nice welcome and rooms were ready an hour ahead of check in time which was great. Rooms were pleasant although storage was very limited. It is hit and miss with sun on the terrace dependent upon your location, some had full sun with no capacity for shade and others had a mix or minimal sun. I found the fact that as a luxury resort you are provided with 4 coffee capsules for a weeks stay and charged €1.50 per additional capsule for the week benusing, I would have expected daily replenishment for a hotel of this standing. All cleaning and front of house staff were super friendly and room was cleaned and turned down daily. The breakfast was good but service a little chaotic. After 9.30 it was difficult to get a table for 4, the queue for the coffee machine could be lengthy and it was complex to use. Breakfast offering was good. We ate lunch in the restaurant most days for convience and service was hit and miss. We ordered a bottle of wine, it came and was left on the table in 32 degree heat, no ice bucket. On one occasion we waited 55 minutes for our food to arrive. The main shared pool was hit and miss with towels, some days they would be laid out other days not and it wasn't evident where to source towels or dispose of used ones. The location of the hotel was great, nice easy walk into the town with an array of fabulous eateries and bars. Definitely bring beach shoes. Overall a nice relaxing week but with a few tweaks could be epic.

Terribly loud hotel. DJ music all day, ferla like a disco club not holidays. I strongly advise to avoid this hotel.

What a beautiful hotel!! It’s an under developed island compared to other Greek islands but this hotel is stunning and the service and food match this. It’s a little secluded you need to walk or taxi into town but if you want peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings this is it!! All staff are very attentive when you need them but preventing alone if not. Only slight criticism storage in rooms are limited and small. Other than that can’t complain

5* laid back luxury…loved the vibe of Casa Cook and would return in a heartbeat ❤️ Exceptional staff! ALL professional, friendly and helpful with a special mention to Whyte in housekeeping who couldn’t do more for us, Teresa who served at breakfast with a genuine cheery smile, and Djoga for his cocktail masterclass with a Greek twist (husband is now converted to cocktails!) We had a swim up room which was perfect 🌟 When we hit shade at 3pm we just moved to the beach and always got beds - people come and go - no reserving sunbeds here! Enjoyed the music on the beach and DJ sessions. Bar service to sunbeds was a lovely luxury - can recommend the Island Aperol! The hotel is next to the airport but you know that when booking. Didn’t bother us one bit - enjoyed watching the planes. About a 30 minute walk into Pythagoria but we were lazy and took a taxi every night for 9€! Wonderful Greek town - lots of great restaurants and evening walks along the harbour. Thank you for an amazing holiday - we will definitely be back….

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel, and one of the main reasons was the outstanding service provided by the Front Office team. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff made me feel genuinely welcome. They were professional, courteous, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that every request was handled promptly and with a smile. Their warm hospitality created a fantastic first impression and continued throughout my stay. I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to the Front Office Management. Their leadership was clearly reflected in the team's efficiency, professionalism, and exceptional guest service. It is evident that they have created a culture focused on excellence, attention to detail, and genuine care for every guest's experience. The entire check-in and check-out process was seamless, communication was excellent, and every interaction demonstrated a high level of training and dedication. It is rare to encounter such a well-managed Front Office operation, and it truly elevated the overall quality of my stay. Congratulations to the entire team for delivering such an outstanding level of hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.
