Argassi Beach Hotel

I booked this hotel at the last minute. Usually I research everything about a hotel but, to our complete disappointment, I did not this time. I booked an annex room as it seemed to be just at the side of the hotel with all the same amenities. Safe, coffee making facilities etc. Sadly this was not the case. The room was across the road from the hotel, approx 80metres up the road. Up a small alley. Juliet balcony, shower that was not attached to the wall, no coffee making facilities, very hard beds. I actually like that. My husband did not. Air con and a fridge. Total disappointment at the state of the room but it was clean. The maid did come every day and the was lovely. Decided to make the best of it. Went for breakfast. Small, hot room. Unappetising selection. Walked out. Now, I’m not a snob or hard to please but this is not what was described. Went round to the pool, very small, hardly any sunbeds. Honestly surprised at the good reviews. Very, very disappointed. However, we found another beach front hotel and spent all of our days there. Free to use, beautiful hotel and a fabulous pool bar and food. Argassi itself is just wonderful. This hotel is not.

Not recommended. Hotel, especially the bathroom is obsolete. Bathroom was not cleaned. Pool dirty, hotel beach disastrous. Toilet flushing does not work. Wi-Fi is not working. Air conditioning does not work. Already when entering an unpleasant mould / mould smell. Absolute impudence for this price.

I had such a great stay! The hotel’s right on the beach, so it was super easy to enjoy the ocean and the amazing views. Everything was really clean, and the staff were super friendly and helpful the whole time. It’s the perfect spot to relax and just enjoy some downtime. I’d definitely stay here again!
