Elegance Luxury Executive Suites

Spent a great week in Tragaki at the Elegance Executive Suites After a 30 min transfer from the airport we arrived at the hotel in a beautifully quiet and rural part of Tragaki Being upgraded to a lovely large suite included seating area, hot tub and a stunning view from the large balcony of the coast and Kefalonia across the bay - you will see some STUNNING sunsets!! The hotel is located outside of the bustling main hotel locations. This does mean the restaurants & beaches are a pleasant 20-25 min walk through the olive groves. Mindful that the hotel is located above the town, the walks will involve an up hill stroll on the way back. There are no pavements on the 2 roads down and little lighting so agin be prepared to use your phone torch and stick to the side of the road if walking in the dark The hotel provides a wide variety of breakfast catering for all tastes. There is also a good lunch menu and a daily changed evening menu for those on half board. We stayed on a B&B basis but did eat in the hotel one evening and had a delicious meal The pool area is extensive and although not many beds, due to the opportunity to drive out or walk to the beaches we never struggled to find a bed (although beware the usual guest who reserve beds at the crack of dawn!!!). The pool services begin at 11:30, but access to the pool is open so some guests will get down and reserve their favourite spot!! The pool is large and a welcome cool off when needed from soaking up the sun!! Tragaki is located a 30 min bus ride into Zakynthos town which we did one day. The bus stops are at the bottom of the hill and cost €2.20 per person one way. They do run an irregular timetable but this is posted at the bus stops. And if the bus is busy, expect to stand!! The hotel is of a great standard and very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff are polite and attentive, and great to see the Hotel Manager visible and on site throughout the day We had a minor maintenance issue with a shower head that was replaced as soon as mentioned The only maintenance area we would mention is the decking around the pool area. It is dated and really in need of replacement. There some raised areas and splintered wood so recommended to wear footwear when walking around the deck and over the foot bridge Overall a stunning location, comfortable well appointed rooms and fantastic staffing Would recommend a stay if you love being away from the bustle of the main tourist areas and like a walk to and from dinner!!

I stayed here in August with my partner. Its very nice but I dont think five star. Our room was sea view executive room with jacuzzi bath. The balcony was big but unfortunately if you sat down with a drink the view was obscured with plants outside the balcony. There was also one bin for the whole room, there was a seperate toilet to the bathroom which could have done with another bin. The towels supplied were very thin and not good quality. There were no english channels on the tv in the room at all. No iron or ironing board, although it does advertise there is on their website. Also no hotel information provided in the room, we had to find out a lot of things ourselves. We stayed half board so had a evening meal every night which was five courses which you had to pick off a list every morning. If the restaurant was busy at night you may wait a while between courses. Some nights we struggled to find things we liked. The breakfasts were ok, but we found some of the hot food cold eventhough they were kept in silver containers for you to help yourself. You couldnt tell what food were in those as nothing was labelled, so you had to open each one to see what food was in them. There is nothing to do in the area as the hotel is up a steep side road, the nearest supermarket is about 10-15 mins walk. We hired a car so we didnt have to rely on buses and taxis all the time. The buses were not frequent anyway and taxis were 25 euros into Zante Town. The sun beds were a bit hit and miss if you managed to get one as even for this small hotel guests were leaving towels on them and going to have breakfast first. If you like a small quiet hotel then you will enjoy it, but for us it was too quiet so dont think we would stay here again.

We have just returned from a very relaxing stay, the facilities were great (pool & view fantastic). We were given a room upgrade on arrival which was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. The staff helped make the stay enjoyable, the waitresses were brilliant and welcoming the waiters were just as good ( special mention to Stiamitis, hope the spelling is correct, he was very knowledgeable on the area/island with recommendations on where to visit). The housekeeping ladies were very good and the room was always clean with fresh towels. Unfortunately we had a flight cancellation, so we returned via taxi, from the airport for an extra night, which Chryssa in reception, was very helpful and accommodating in arranging, thankyou Chryssa.

Thank you for going above and beyond to make our 10th wedding anniversary so special. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, every member of staff was exceptional. A special thank you to Miss Chryssa, who was incredible from start to finish. Your work ethic, your style was very appreciated , Miss Sophie for the brilliant massage, and all the dinner staff who were always so happy, warm and friendly. Your kindness and hospitality made our anniversary truly unforgettable. ❤️ the rooms were incredible and perfect! We couldn’t have asked for a better escape.

Wow we had the best time relaxing as a couple for our honeymoon at this beautiful place. Where do I even begin? Upon arrival we were greeted by Chrissa and another lady who gave us a brief tour of the main building and restaurant then we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a private pool suite with breathtaking views. The suites are very private. Not overlooked by the balcony above with its clever layout. The glass diving the pools was also not see through so was a completely private experience. The pool was warm from the sun and very pleasant to be in. In the suites you have everything you need, even little items such as a sewing kit and dental kit are provided. The furnishings are high quality and maid cleans to a very high standard each day. We had the breakfast & dinner package which was delicious and you choose from a menu of different options each night. We always had something we liked. It is 5 course menu with bread and olives to accompany. Wine is good and locally made, very lovely selection of wines and cocktails which are freshly made. The food was the highlight of our trip to Zante! We looked forward to it each night and enjoyed sitting in the romantic peaceful setting watching the sun set. During our stay there were a jazz band and also a man playing saxophone one night which was lovely. The service from every staff member was outstanding. You can walk down the hill into the local town it took us around 10 mins to walk down the hill and then you go left to find some bars and shops as well as a beach with lovely spots to sit and have a drink overlooking the sea. You can instead turn right at the bottom of the hill which leads you to a bigger town with more shops and restaurants. Taxi cost €12 to the local town. There is a bus to other places too or you can hire a car. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to escape the stress of life and find some much needed relaxation as well a bit of gentle exploration on foot. If you are confident hiring a car then you can experience so much of the island, we just wanted to switch off and relax and we are now heading back to the UK feeling refreshed with some fabulous memories!
