Lesante Classic Luxury Hotel Spa

This first holiday in Zakynthos was perfect! We meet a greet hotel with a good atmosphere and amazing staff. Thanks to many of them and specially for the breakfast every morning to Tasos.

I loved this hotel, it was clean, contemporary and fairly well located. I read in a previous review someone said it was in a 'slum location' which I disagree with, there is not much around it but it's only minutes from the beach (if you go to beach closest to the hotel it's not that crowded) and about a 10/15 minute walk into town. There are some bars and restaurants on the way and the road is fairly well lit and there are plenty of people about so I felt like the walk into town was fine at night. Also, if you follow the footpath that goes around the back of the hotel, you cut off a corner when walking in and out of town. There is a supermarket just a few minutes away for essentials too. You can actually walk along the beach into town too which we did a few times and even saw a newly hatched turtle one evening. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, which had a fantastic choice, as well as eggs cooked to order and served at your table. The staff were fantastic, they were so friendly and helpful. Our room was a bit on the small side for 2 adults and a teen but we managed. We had a room overlooking the pool which helped take the sting of the size of the room. I wasn't a huge fan of Zante, but this hotel made our stay.

We stayed at the Lesante Classic for 7 nights. Having looked at so many different places to stay, we were really pleased we chose this hotel. When you arrive at the front of the building you immediately get good vibes and feel confident that you've made a good choice. A really contemporary building, it looks great outside and in. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, our room was excellent. Spotlessly tidy and cleaned daily. A lady also comes round around 6pm every evening to change towels. The breakfast is described as a Continental Breakfast, but that does a disservice to what's on offer. The selection is massive and really tasty. There are two pools, the smaller is adults only. Don't be put off by the fact this isn't an adult-only hotel. There were plenty families there but the clever layout meant you you'd occasionally hear kids laughing in the pool, but nothing more. It's also a really nice touch when they come round the pool area with free fruit slushies in the afternoon. The hotel is well located. It's a 10min stroll into Tsilivi where there are countless restaurants to choose from i the evening and the beach is a 5min walk and such a chilled place during the day and into the evening. The airport is 15mins by taxi and it's a 10-15mins drive to Zakynthos Town which is definitely worth a visit. Special shout out to the lady who serves the coffee's at breakfast, she is super happy the whole time and always sets you up perfectly for the rest of the day. Thank you Lesante Classic.

Stunning hotel. Great location, 10 minute flat walk into the town with loads of great restaurants and bars. Staff super attentive. Rooms cleaned daily and towels changed twice daily. We wwe very lucky to be upgraded to a suite which was amazing with a jacuzzi on the balcony. There are lovely toiletries, a hair dryer and safe in the room along with beach towels and a beach bag. This really is luxury and you get what you pay for. The only small downside was sun loungers around the pool area were secured with towels at 7.30am even though no on was sitting on them! The staff can move them if no one is sitting on them but we didn't sit around the pool once because of this. The beach is 2 minutes away and there are some great beach bars there too. All in all I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Staying at this hotel was a bizarre experience, specially after visiting classic Greece and Italy. Walking into this ultra modern Hotel was a jolt. I'm not sure what concept they're going for but we felt like we were in some type of movie with weird drone people as staff. When we arrived they directed us to the large couch in the entryway, they were dressed in strange jumpsuits and robotically informed us about the hotel and our stay. We got in later in the evening and the only option for food was the hotel restaurant which was a lacking menu and extremely high prices. This was in a very slummy area as well and the beach that was near there was incredibly crowded and extremely dirty. There was a beautiful pool area with an adult pool and a family pool and the breakfast was incredible with the rice pudding and vanilla custard! But It was absolutely not worth the $500 per night and I would not choose to stay there again. Also the rooms are so small and the whole hotel was just Stark and too modern for Greece. This was a huge disappointment to us close to the end of our trip.
