We visited arriving on the 11th September, and staying for 10 nights in room 223. The hotel is made up of some 56 Private Villas - we stayed in the Ocean Villas- with wonderful sea views from our lounge area and large balcony with lay-beds, large sofa outdoor bed, table and chairs, the situation was quiet, and had lovely evening views of the sunset. Airconditioning through out, perfect, and very comfortable bed, very large shower facility, jacuzzi bath, dual wash hand basins and separate WC. The housekeeping service was great with super comfortable bed (with mosquito screens) - which were not needed for us. Clean towels etc and bed linen changed as needed. There are 2 large restaurants the Mahe where breakfast is served and in the evening the restaurant specialised in Creole cooking. The other large evening restaurant was the Wave Restaurant and was influenced by European/Continental cuisine. Also the Ocean view bar- where you could eat Lunch/snacks through out the day. All food was perfectly cooked, presented to tempt the palate and tasted even better. We could not have wished for better food - Speciality evening at the Wave restaurant Tuesdays - Spanish Tapas night and Thursday Bella Italiana evening - fantastic - all restaurants have panoramic views of the bay/beach area. Staff at the hotel always so friendly and would always greet you with a smile and acknowledgement. Hotel is a short walk 20 minutes from Beau Vallon Bay, although there is a daily shuttle bus service leaving at 11.30 dropping off first at the Beau Vallon and onto the capital Victoria- for those wishing to shop and visit the local market, shops and cafes and restaurants- picking quests up at 16.30 and then stopping at the Bay and back to the hotel. Special mention to Ivy (Breakfast Chef) who came out to see us and advise where we could buy some local dried fish. Uche, Serena - who always greeted us with a smile and served us many times for breakfast and at the Ocean View Bar. Julius, Brian (Restaurant Manager) - Precious - always a delight to speak with Marie- Michelle - would always greet us with a smile/wave Sylvester - waiter at the Wave Restaurant. Not to mention the quality and great selection of breakfast food, hot, local fruit, and some imported fruits, and selection of pastries and bread, Local Jams homemade- Banana, Papaya and other fruit jams A very special mention to Jenny (Deputy Manager)- who really made our holiday special, so friendly, professional and knowledgeable - giving us great information on the local area and places to visit. So helpful - and a great asset to the Hilton Northolme. Thank you all for a lovely holiday, would certainly not hesitate to recommend and would hopefully visit again. Its a pity no direct flight from London.
After a booking issue at the Mahe restaurant earlier in our trip, the team really went above and beyond to make things right, and they completely redeemed themselves. We revisited the restaurant and the food was excellent, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They turned what started as a disappointing experience into a really enjoyable evening. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Seychelles to try some of their other restaurants. Thank you to the whole team, particularly Uche, Nelly, Kobe and Gospel.
Juliette is the bestest and sweetest person for a spa experience. Thankyou so much Juliette.. i would live to come back for the stay just because of Juliette.
We had an absolutely amazing honeymoon at the Hilton Northolme, from the moment we arrived we felt completely at home! The beds were incredibly comfortable and the amenities were second to none. The location is mindblowing; tranquil, private and right on the beach facing beautiful Silhouette island. Sunsets never disappointed, visible from all villas/restaurants alike and snorkelling right from (one of) the hotels private beaches was my most memorable experience! We had exceptionally friendly front of house and restaurant staff (thank you Julius, Marie Michelle and Susantha specifically!), an amazing spa team (Juliette and Anessa - you were fabulous) and Olesia from Creole Travel Services helped us to organise some incredible day trips from the hotel! Absolutely unmissable and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable trip to the Seychelles!!
