Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa

Came to Northolme Seychelles as part of our honeymoon. It’s such a beautiful place set in the hills. Beautiful food and the staff are so kind and will do anything to make you happy. The rooms are gorgeous with views over the sea and amazing wildlife, especially the fruit bats flying between the trees. Thank you for making our stay so memorable

The hotel is beautiful. We loved our villa with the balcony you can relax on even when it is raining, the pool by the lobby with the amazing view and the small beach with the even more beautiful view with nature all around you. Snorkeling around here was so much fun with many fish to see, if you needed it you could even borrow equipment. As the hotel is located close to the north shore of the island and is placed high on the hill, you have the amazing view but you can still get to the Beau Vallon Beach with a car in 10 minutes and Victoria in about 20 minutes. The staff is so nice and was always there in no time if we needed anything. For example Ricky, whom we met giving out towels or just checking if we needed anything by the pool and beach, was so friendly and open that we felt right at home. Our villa care specialist Christie left us beautiful bed spreads and made us feel so comfortable in the villa, it was always very clean. In the villa, with closed windows and doors you could hear the birds and the fruit bats and of course the rain, but that gave it its charm. As it is a 5 star hotel and on Seychelles we knew it was going to be pricy, but we were still a little taken aback by the prices for food and drinks. All in all we had a beautiful honeymoon and enjoyed every moment, even when it rained on some of the days. They have three different restaurants to choose from. We went to the Pool & Beach Bar for dinner twice and once for some cocktails on our stay. Our hosts on the first visit, Rose, Wesley & Swaibu, were very friendly and the burgers were delicious. As a dessert, we had a brownie with ice cream - also really good. All in all the bar has a pretty wide selection and has a very comfortable atmosphere and we enjoyed the live music, performed by wonderful singers. During the daytime, the view is amazing! We can only recommend coming. We had dinner at the wave restaurant on two evenings, once with the normal menu and once on tapas night. On our second visit, one of the hosts, Maris-Michelle, even remembered us and what we wanted to drink, which was really nice! All the hosts, Julius and Sylvester along with Maris-Michelle, were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. On the regular menu night, we got Coconut-bread with a vinegar as a starter which was delicious. There was a vegetarian option available and even if there was not one on the menu, like on tapas night, the chef had prepared a vegetarian option anyway. Of course it is very individual, but as a person having food-groups I don't eat, with the restaurant mainly having one menu with two exceptions during the week, I couldn't eat there every night. Everything we tried was very good and my husband was especially pleased to have half a lobster with the regular menu. Dessert was also delicious on both occasions, but as the main course was quite a lot, we were very very full after 😃 When you are lucky, you can sit right by the balcony with a beautiful view during daytime. We enjoyed the restaurant with its chic interior and elegant vibe and can really recommend coming. The Mahé Restaurant we went to almost every day for breakfast and on three occasions we went there for dinner, once with creol food as a special. The breakfast has a wide selection of fruits, they had breads, sweet muffins, cereal, meats and vegan oatmeal, which I loved. You could order eggs in different forms and pancakes & waffle. Plus, there was always one special of the day. On one occasion my order was forgotten, but the other days we loved the scrambled eggs on coconut bread and especially the different cold juices. As I already wrote, not eating everything could make it hard to keep going to the restaurant with the same menu every day with only one exception during the week - but on the first visit one of the hosts told me I can request a different dish if I like beforehand. That I really appreciated. On the first night at the restaurant, we had lentil soup, which was delicious, followed by a vegetable curry for me (the vegetarian option) and a beef dish for my husband. I really enjoyed the curry, it was just a bit too much for me 😃 Both times the dessert was amazing. On creol night, as there was supposed to be a shared starter plate with fish and meat, the chef Thabo even came out to explain his solution for me, which was very kind. Our hosts on the first night, Kobe, Gigi & Eloyra, and on the second night, Nelly, Uche & Gigi, were also very friendly and always had a moment to talk and laugh with us. The restaurant has a cozy feeling to it and lets you enjoy the trees and nature around you during the day. We definitely recommend coming here.

Really good hotel Staff all amazing, food great , bar service amazing , will probably go back again at some point! Small Island so every thing close proximity but we loved hotel and food. Scuba diving I used big blue dive bbd@diveinseychelles.com picked me up every day FOC from hotel ..Very good dive centre fully kitted out with quality equipment. Well laid out rooms with kit. Nitrox available Dive instructor & DM both I would fully recommend as so understanding of there territory and just doing there job as it says on the tin!! 100% use BBD!

We had a Great Massage & Spa Therapie with Juliette & Aneesa. We enjoyed it a Lot and had a Great time relaxing here

What a welcome! From the moment we arrived, the reception was lovely. As we were celebrating our anniversary, we were treated to wine and a beautiful room setup, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel very special. All the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming, and the villas are well thought out, comfortable and beautifully designed. Breakfast was good, with a lovely variety of food to choose from. The pool was wonderful on the days we spent at the resort. However, we often found the beach access area quite crowded, and there were limited loungers available, which made it difficult to fully enjoy that part of the resort. A special mention to Mahé Restaurant, where my husband had the best octopus curry he has ever tasted! Absolutely outstanding. 👌 Nelly deserves a special mention too. She is the sweetest, always smiling, and made us feel so welcome. People like her really make a difference to the guest experience. Unfortunately, our first experience at Wave Restaurant wasn’t quite what we had hoped for. As lobster lovers, we found that the lobster didn’t taste as fresh as we are accustomed to, which was disappointing and took away from what we had hoped would be a special evening. We would also have loved to arrange a romantic candlelit dinner in our room. As we didn’t have a private pool, we weren’t sure whether this experience was available for our villa type. It would have been lovely to have clearer information about the options available. As IHG members, we were also interested in making the most of our Hilton Honors membership. We only learned how the programme worked towards the end of our stay, so it would have been helpful to receive this information on arrival, particularly as we had booked through an agent. This would have allowed us to better understand the benefits and how we could make the most of our spending during our stay. Overall, we leave with beautiful memories, wonderful hospitality and some of the best sundowners! 🌅 The resort has so much to offer, and the warmth of the staff made our anniversary trip even more special. Thank you for the lovely memories. We hope to return in the future!
