Hotel L'Archipel

My wife and I loved our stay at L'Archipel. It's a beautiful, peaceful place, and the people are what made it special. **The staff** Everyone we met greeted us warmly and was cheerful and professional. A special thank-you to **Olivier, Hanta, Stephen, and Marcus**. Olivier took great care of us from the moment we arrived. He explained everything clearly and patiently and was a pleasure to deal with. He and the rest of the team kept giving us the same kind service for our whole stay. Management, please give these people a raise. They deserve it! **The property** - Beautiful scenery and calm, zen surroundings - Very clean throughout - Spacious room with a large balcony deck, perfect for morning coffee and relaxing in the evening - The rooms are well spaced out, so it feels private and quiet - Breakfast with an ocean view every morning was a highlight. We felt like royalty! - another plus is we appreciate the bathroom has so many towel hangers. **A few things to improve** - **Rugs:** They look nice, but they slide on the floor. My wife and I both slipped and tripped several times. A non-slip pad underneath would fix this easily and prevent injuries. - **Bathtub soap:** There was soap in the shower but none by the bathtub. Adding sope there is necessary. - **The access road:** This isn't the hotel's fault, but the road to the property is not fully paved, so the drive in is rough. Hotel should work with whoever to fix this for better guest experience. None of this took away from a wonderful stay. We would happily come back, and we highly recommend L'Archipel.

This was the sixth time we have come back to l’Archipel, so obviously we love the place. Its location is its trump card probably in the words top ten, like some of the islands beaches, for the view from the rooms or the beach. The gardens are in a better shape than when we were here last 4 years ago. Although some do not find the swimming easy at low tide I have found the snorkelling in the bay engaging and safe. The staff are all friendly and professional and it would be unfair to pick out any individuals. One or two minor criticisms, the storage for clothes has taken a step backward since refurbishing. Like so many places we have stayed in recently it is style over function and for those not travelling with just carry on luggage there is not enough space for clothes. A little maintenance to the equipment in our bathroom would help and my wife says a magnifying mirror would be useful. The beach bar is a great new addition ideal for an evening drink watching the sun go down. We were lucky to be able to get a room for late check out as our flight did not leave till late in the evening. All in all the new management are doing a good job

We had a wonderful time here for our honeymoon, all the staff was really pleasant and benevolent, including in particular the barman Bed from the pool bar for whom we would like to address a special thanks. We hope to see you again one day as we come back with our family to show them the wonders of these island and the beautiful people we met here. Marie & Henri

Hotel L'Archipel is a small piece of paradise. The hotel is beautiful, food is amazing, staff are super friendly. Lots to do or not do. Pool area is very relaxing. No fighting for sun loungers. Beach is stunning with blue sea and white sand. I spent my 50th here and could not if wished for anything more. Marcus in particular who works at the hotel always came out of his way to say hello and ask if we needed anything. Perfect little corner of paradise. Love it.

Hotel L'Archipel is a stunning hotel on Praslin, from a beautiful welcome on our arrival for our honeymoon to them arranging a candlelight dinner one night, we felt very treated. The hotel has amazing water activity services including kayaks, snorkels and paddleboard you can rent for free and the evening dancing entertainment is so fun. My favourite thing was heading back to our room every evening to see what towel animal was left on our bed - shout out and thank you to Jerami :)
