From arrival til check out, everything was not only smooth but also above expectations - not surprising from the M.O group. The beautiful room that greeted us, access to the club lounge as well as the personalised gifts of pens and luggage tags thoughtfully prepared by Syafiq from guest relations made the stay even more memorable. Special mention to Marie, Albert, Sera, Uni, Brittany and Debbie from the club lounge for their top notch service, always ready with a smile as they assisted. As someone who almost exclusively stays with Hilton properties as a Diamond member, it takes something truly exceptional for me to book elsewhere. However, as my time in Singapore was coming to an end before flying back to the UK, I decided to treat myself with a stay at the Mandarin Oriental Singapore—having previously experienced the outstanding Mandarin Oriental New York. It proved to be one of the best decisions of my entire trip. From the moment I arrived, I was reminded why Mandarin Oriental has earned such a remarkable reputation for luxury hospitality. Despite having stayed with the brand only once before, in New York, the team already recognised me as a returning guest. Being welcomed back as a “Friend of Mandarin Oriental” and presented with a complimentary glass of Champagne at check-in was such a thoughtful and personal gesture. It immediately made me feel valued and set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. Every space feels calm, elegant and meticulously designed, with contemporary décor that perfectly balances luxury and comfort. The public areas are immaculate, the furnishings are sophisticated without ever feeling overwhelming, and there is a wonderful sense of tranquillity throughout the property despite being in the heart of one of Asia’s busiest cities. One of the highlights of my stay was dining at the hotel’s seafood restaurant. The quality of the food was exceptional. The seafood was as fresh as you could possibly hope for, with beautifully prepared lobster, scallops and an excellent selection of fish. Every dish was presented with incredible attention to detail and tasted just as impressive as it looked. Something else that really caught my attention was the level of innovation. Throughout the restaurant, small autonomous robotic devices quietly collected used plates and assisted the staff. It was fascinating to watch and reinforced the feeling that Singapore is often several steps ahead when it comes to embracing modern technology while maintaining outstanding personal service. Service throughout the hotel was faultless. Every member of staff I encountered was genuinely warm, approachable and effortlessly professional. Nothing ever felt forced—there was simply a genuine desire to make every guest’s stay memorable. Of course, no visit to Singapore would feel complete without enjoying a Singapore Sling, and I highly recommend ordering one at the hotel. Sitting back with this iconic cocktail while soaking up the elegant surroundings was one of those travel moments that perfectly captures the atmosphere of the city. The hotel also offers an excellent selection of restaurants and bars. Unfortunately, the Michelin-starred restaurant was closed during my visit, which was disappointing, but it has given me yet another reason to return. Judging by the standard of everything else at the hotel, I’m sure it would be an exceptional dining experience. One unexpected benefit of staying here was the location. As I had spent the earlier part of my trip elsewhere in Singapore, moving to the Mandarin Oriental allowed me to explore a completely different area of the city. Even though the weather was incredibly hot during my stay, wandering around this part of Singapore gave me a fresh perspective on a destination that had already impressed me so much. Looking back, the Mandarin Oriental was the perfect way to end an unforgettable holiday. It combines world-class service, exceptional dining, luxurious accommodation and genuine attention to detail that makes guests feel truly special. Even as someone who is usually very loyal to another hotel brand, I left completely won over by the Mandarin Oriental experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxury stay in Singapore. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, visiting for business or simply treating yourself while exploring one of the world’s most remarkable cities, this hotel delivers on every level. I sincerely hope to return one day, this time for a longer stay, so I can fully appreciate everything this beautiful hotel has to offer. This is one of those rare hotels that stays with you long after you’ve checked out, and for me it became the perfect ending to an unforgettable journey through Singapore.

This hotel is located perfectly in the heart of Marina Bay. It overlooks the most iconic buildings in Singapore. Stunning interiors and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is an extensive spread and compares with the best hotels in destinations like Maldives. All staff members are professional and friendly. Went to Embu for weekend brunch. Enjoyed the lunch with excellence service from Carine. Very friendly with good service oriented from Carine.
