Mandarin Oriental, Singapore

Great location and amazing view over Marina Bay. Service was excellent. Rooms are great size, well kept and all amenities you need. Staff very helpful. Swimming pool not very busy and lovely temperature.

I returned to Singapore this summer with two friends who had never experienced the city, and they wanted that iconic Singapore location with beautiful views. I ultimately chose the Mandarin Oriental, and it delivered on many of the things we were looking for. The property is undeniably luxurious, with beautiful, immaculate, and exceptionally well-equipped suites. Many of the suites, as well as several areas of the hotel—including the pool—offer beautiful views over the bay. Most impressive, however, was the service. Everyone we encountered went out of their way to make our stay special, and the level of attentiveness truly felt five-star. The suites themselves provide a wonderful luxury experience, with excellent amenities, incredibly comfortable beds, beautiful linens, and the thoughtful little details that distinguish a true luxury hotel from a typical four-star property. Our suite was immaculate, and I was greeted with birthday balloons and treats, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. The breakfast deserves a special mention. The spread was absolutely unbelievable—beautifully presented, incredibly extensive, and truly an experience in itself. I was genuinely impressed. The pool area was another highlight: beautiful, peaceful, with great views and excellent service. My only reservation about the property is that, despite the luxurious accommodations and exceptional service, the overall feel is more that of a large business hotel than an intimate luxury resort. This certainly wasn't a major issue, but having stayed at the QT Singapore just a month earlier, I noticed the difference and was mildly disappointed by the larger-scale, more corporate feel of the Mandarin Oriental. That said, if you're looking for a luxury hotel in an iconic Singapore location, with beautiful views, outstanding service, and exceptional rooms and amenities, the Mandarin Oriental is an excellent choice.

Always love coming back to MOSIN! ❤️ From check in with Angel, everything was smooth and seamless, and I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade to a Marina View. There was also a lovely welcome cake waiting in the room, which was such a nice touch. As my friend was joining me for the stay and it was his belated birthday, the Guest Relations team was incredibly sweet to arrange balloons and a cake for him. A big thank you to Syafiq, Princes, Akane, Kai and Aaron for making it extra special! Breakfast was another lovely experience. I felt so welcomed and recognised by Kei & Ganes (sorry if I got the spelling wrong!) and Roger. The team at Embu are always so friendly and warm. Check out with Chloe was smooth and professional. I really appreciated that she kept me informed when she needed a little time to arrange the cash for my deposit refund. And not forgetting the housekeeping team and their thoughtful turn-down service! The little bookmark left without me asking, the way they always neatly organise our charging wires with cable ties, and coming back to a beautifully cleaned room every time, these little details really make a difference. Love, love, love the hospitality and all the thoughtful touches. Always a pleasure staying at MOSIN, and I’ll definitely be back! ❤️

A wonderful hotel in a brilliant position, overlooking Marina Bay Sands, with easy access to walk to places. The Staff are amazing, all so helpful, warm and friendly. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are super comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast buffet is perfection, and the pool area is lovely. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, and would return in a heartbeat! I visited a lot of hotels whilst there, Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Marina Bay Sands etc; and this was far superior to them all!

During this trip to Singapore, I stayed at a total of three different hotels. First of all, I absolutely loved the location of the Mandarin Oriental; it's so close to Marina Bay Sands (MBS) and the Merlion. The accessibility was fantastic, making it perfect for taking an evening stroll around the nearby attractions and easily walking back. I actually made a mistake with my booking dates. Since I didn't book directly with the hotel, it was a bit difficult to modify. However, the hotel staff communicated wonderfully with my travel agency to sort it out, allowing us to stay without any issues. I had mentioned it was our 10th anniversary, and I was so surprised and grateful that they prepared not one, but two cakes for us! They also gave our child a cute bag and a stuffed toy as gifts. It's a bit of a shame that the pool view is currently being obstructed by construction, but the service everywhere else in the hotel was so outstanding that it made up for it. I genuinely regretted that this was my very first time staying at a Mandarin hotel! Down by the pool, the staff regularly came by to serve complimentary drinks and water. During breakfast, our child was looking for a fish dish they had eaten the day before. When I asked if there was any fish on the menu, the chef mentioned there wasn't any today, but then went out of their way to make the exact same dish from yesterday just for us. (I was so, so thankful!) Also, the room slippers were incredibly comfortable. I kind of wish I had brought a pair home with me. At first, I thought the room might be a bit small, but the bed was huge, so there was no discomfort at all for our family of three sleeping together. The bedding was easily the most comfortable among all the hotels we stayed at in Singapore. Lastly, we used our hotel dining credits to have a meal at Dolce Vita before checking out. The Italian dishes were absolutely delicious, and you could really taste the culinary expertise. I highly recommend trying their signature menu. Every single staff member we encountered was incredibly kind, making for a truly enjoyable stay. The hotel is directly connected to the Marina Square mall next door, and it's also very close to Gardens by the Bay, the Singapore Flyer, MBS, and the Merlion! If I visit Singapore again, I would definitely love to stay here again.
