Poor hotel lacking in 5* performance

We only stayed one night at Wyndham Singapore Hotel. We are extremely disappointed with the service, which is far below the standard of a five‑star hotel. During breakfast, after checking‑in at the restaurant entrance, we queued up for food wearing in‑room slippers. Without any prior warning or visible notice at the front desk or restaurant entrance, a staff member rudely tapped my wife on the shoulder and told us we could not enter with room slippers and forced us to go back to our room to change shoes. We followed their rule and returned after changing footwear. Afterwards, we spoke to the hotel manager to file a formal complaint about the rude way we were treated. The manager gave us only empty, repetitive excuses. They refused to add clear notice of this dress‑code policy and offered no sincere apology for the unpleasant incident. There was zero advance reminder of this footwear policy anywhere. The way the staff approached guests was disrespectful. Most disappointing of all was management’s unwillingness to take responsibility. This property does not deliver the service level you would expect for this brand rating. We will escalate this complaint to Wyndham global headquarters if needed. We cannot recommend this hotel.

Play area was huge outdoor and the indoor one was cute and cozy

Neymar was a great help to us organising our stay, as was Neesh who served us with a smile every night for dinner.

This stay at Wyndham was such a pleasant experience, smooth from check-in to check-out. A special shoutout to two staff members, Nico and Annie. Nico was patient and friendly while walking me through hotel amenities and local tips during check-in. Annie was thoughtful and responsive with housekeeping and breakfast support, making every small need feel well taken care of. The room was spotless with comfy bedding, and the overall vibe was relaxing and great value. I’ll definitely choose Wyndham again, and huge thanks to Nico and Annie for their warm, standout service.
