Gran Hotel Bali

If you are after main benidorm, then this is not the place for you. It's a quiet area, 10 minute walk down hill to the beach, slope walking back up. Atmosphere is abit bland. Evenings not much good. Or room was very clean, hotel very clean. Stuff not too helpful. Only found out on last day, they do table service outside. You are not allowed your feet up while sitting in the chairs by the pool. Not allowed drinks by the pool. Not allowed inflatables. They are very stricked here. Heaven forbid you enjoy yourself of holiday. We made a noise complaint about the construction work on neighbour hotel. Bali just said it wasnt their fault!. And that was that. No offer to change room or anything. We stayed on level 42, stunning views, absolutely amazing. BUT the lifts are horrendous!!. We had to wait every morning around 20 minutes to for the lift to arrive. Then stopping at near enough every level down. People just push in, they are so hot and stuffy. On our way back up we waiting just over an hour to just get the lift back up. There were soo many people waiting. It's just a nightmare. 7 lifts. Only 3 worked!. Food wasnt really great either. We ate out most evenings. Be carful if you have a drink at lunch time. We were charged for 1 drink twice!!. So just watch what you pay. Don't think I would come back here. Purley because I want to enjoy our holiday relax , not worry if we going to get told off by the "fun police" as my husband would say!. And also the lifts. You have to give a credit card for any damages, when we 1st arrived and got to our room, we found the TV laying down with the foot broke. So reported it straight away, and made a point in saying we will not be chaged for this!!.

Location was really good,quite close to the beach and there were a few stores and pharmacies near. The rooms were great,the bathroom was well equipped and clean,the cleaning staff were very good. The hotel had good atmosphere,it was relaxing. For the amount we payed,I think it was worth it. Breakfast,lunch and dinner was always good and again the staff was great. The only drawback that I can think of was the internet,we were on the fourth floor and did not have connection at all,only in the lobby and cafeteria. Aside form that,I can warmly recommend this hotel to anyone who decides to come here.

Brilliant hotel! Food is fantastic, loads to choose from and great quality! The staff are also great, very friendly and always happy to help! 10/10!!
