Ibersol Torremolinos / Benalmadena Beach

Fantastic location, right on the sea front and a lovely 20 min walk in to the main town centre and Old Town. 10 min walk to La Colina train station if wanting to visit Malaga or Fuengirola. Main station located in Torremolinos Town centre. Hotel lovely, very modern and clean. Breakfast very good, lots of variety. Only 2 things let it down for us. As a 4 star hotel proper cups , saucers and spoons need to be provided in the room, not paper cups! Also both treadmills and other stations of weight training equipment in gym were out of order. Altho gym is small, it can be improved if all the equipment works. We would love to come back and it will be good if these 2 things can be resolved soon.

Hotel was 10 mins Málaga airport,it was a good location near beach and restaurants, staff friendly and helpful, hotel was lovely, good entertainment

We have just returned from 6 nights stay in this hotel. We were a bit sceptical after reading all the reviews and did not know what to expect. The hotel is situated a bit of a distance from Torremolinos centre, it took us more than half an hour to walk there. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel which is very handy if you would rather fancy using public transport. There is a small supermarket 5 minutes walk but I would rather recommend to walk 15 minutes to the nearest Mercadona. We were allocated a room at the end of the corridor which provided partial sea view. There was no information booklet about the hotel in the room so we did not even know how to contact reception. Our kettle was not working but it was replaced when reported. Weird that there are no proper glasses and cups provided, only paper cups. As others mentioned there is a bit of problem with the lifts and we had to wait sometimes ages until one became available. We only had breakfast in the hotel so I can only comment on that. Choices are ok just a few observations: - Coffee was not great quality - Things are not labelled so you often wonder what you actually eat. - Check expire dates of products The pool area is pleasant, you always have sunbeds, no need to 'reserve' them with your towels in advance.

Great location. Lovely spacious hotel. Staff great and very helpful. Food was good. Large variety and fresh. Rooms spacious with lots of packing space. Bathrooms also a good size.
