An Absolutely Beautiful Stay at ME Marbella – October 2026 Having last visited ME Marbella in 2023, I was genuinely amazed by how much the hotel has changed. It is absolutely beautiful, and it was lovely to return and experience it again with my family. One thing I was particularly looking forward to was the kids’ club, which was available during my previous visit. Unfortunately, the hotel no longer offers a kids’ club or caters specifically to children in that way. This was a little disappointing, especially as I had been looking forward to the children enjoying those facilities. However, I have to say it certainly didn’t ruin our experience. Arrival and rooms From the moment we arrived, the experience was lovely. We were welcomed with a gorgeous champagne spritz, which was a lovely touch. We arrived quite early, around midday, and were pleasantly surprised that early check-in was accommodated without any issues. We had booked two rooms. One was ready straight away, while we waited a little for the second, which wasn’t a problem at all. On entering our room, we were greeted with a beautiful welcome arrangement consisting of wine, a tray of sweets, chocolates and a teddy bear. The children were absolutely thrilled! We also received a lovely personalised welcome note, which made the arrival feel even more special. We stayed in a garden-view bedroom. Our room faced towards the back of the property rather than the main hotel, and it was quite shaded, so it could feel a little cool at times. Nevertheless, this was a minor detail and didn’t take away from our stay. Service – absolutely exceptional! If there is one thing that really stands out about ME Marbella, it is the service. The housekeeping team were fantastic. Our room was refreshed two to three times a day, which was incredible. You really do feel looked after. Every member of staff we encountered was exceptional, from the reception and lobby teams to the restaurant staff, chefs and the lovely team looking after the car keys. Everyone was welcoming, attentive and genuinely pleasant. A special mention has to go to Hanadi, who looked after me at breakfast every morning. Such a lovely lady! She even took the time to help me with my Spanish lessons, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. Thank you, Hanadi. Food and breakfast We ordered room service on our first evening, around 6–7 pm. Although I would say the prices are on the higher side, the portions were very generous, and we were really pleased with our meal. Breakfast was another highlight. There was a lovely selection of freshly prepared dishes available to order, including omelettes, avocado toast, churros, waffles and pancakes. The ordering system has changed slightly since my previous visit. Rather than having a chef stationed at the breakfast counter where you could request exactly how you wanted things prepared, you now select your dishes from a menu, and the team prepare and bring them to your table. There is also still a lovely buffet selection with fresh fruit, ham, cheese, cereals, pastries, bread and toast, so there is plenty to choose from. Overall, breakfast was enjoyable, with a good variety of options. Pool and relaxation We spent quite a bit of time around the pools during our stay. There is an adults-only pool area as well as a pool area for adults and children. During our visit, the sun seemed to fall on the family pool for most of the day, so naturally, that was where we spent most of our time. We ordered drinks and milkshakes for the children, who thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The pools were clean, and because the hotel wasn’t particularly busy during our visit, possibly due to the season, we were spoilt for choice when it came to finding somewhere to relax. It was lovely not having to worry about securing sunbeds or feeling overcrowded. Overall experience We genuinely had a fantastic stay at ME Marbella. The hotel is stunning, the attention to detail is impressive, the rooms are beautifully presented, and the level of service is what really makes the experience special. Although I was disappointed that the kids’ club is no longer available, there was still plenty for us to enjoy as a family. I would just encourage families booking with children to be aware of this change before travelling. I last visited in 2023, and returning in October 2026 was a lovely experience. It was wonderful to see how the hotel has evolved, and I would happily return. A massive thank you to all the staff, particularly Hanadi and also Mamen for making our stay so memorable. If I had taken every members name I’d list it here! Exceptional hospitality from beginning to end! Would I recommend ME Marbella? Absolutely!
Great location easy walking distance to the beach and coastal path. The hotel is lovely. The staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough. It is an adult focussed hotel but everyone was very accommodating of our young son. Thank you to Nicola, Elena, Kawtar - from AURA Guest Services Team for being super helpful during our stay.
Booked this holiday through Jet2.com. Our coach transfer to the hotel from Malaga airport was roughly over an hour, as we stopped at two other hotels. First inpressions were ok, welcomed by Francisco. Nice glass of bubbly on arrival. Put on our ME Marbella bracelets which you use to enter your room. We dined whilst waiting on our room to be ready, had pasta and a club sandwich which both were good. Service was friendly from the waiter at the pool. Room 506 on the fifth floor was a Junior Suite with an Oasis view, this was roughly £300 extra per couple when booking. Room was nice overlooking the pool with a small balcony. Lovely big double bed which was very comfortable. Probably my only issue was lack of storage space. There was a rail you hang up clothes with shelves above which were high to reach, and a curtain to pull across. Below the hanging space was 2 drawers but one had straighteners, slippers and other items in it. We did ring reception to ask for more hangers, and they brought 2. We asked for more and these were brought quickly which helped. The bathroom was a good size, nice walk in shower but would have loved a small drawer to put items in. There are items in the room to purchase, such as a 35cl bottle of Jack Daniels which was 60 euro and retails at home for 13 pounds. Nice bottle of cava on arrival, as a welcome gift which was appreciated. Nice atmosphere in the hotel, barmen most friendly. For breakfast there is a good choice, service was mostly good. Mamen was very friendly. Think on first morning maybe the team was short staffed as we had to ask a few times for coffees but after that it improved. You can select something savoury and sweet from menu, if you wish. Breakfast is served to 11.30am which was great if you wanted a lie in. Andrea is excellent, very professional and genuinely welcoming. We did sunbathe 2 days near the pool which was relaxing. On our first night there was no safety nets up around the pool, we had both thought this was maybe dangerous but from our second night onwards, the whole area was secured with safety nets and this was excellent. We used the back entrance of the hotel to walk into Puerto Banus, roughly 15 minutes to the marina. There is not much lighting in the car park at the back entrance but it was quicker than walking from the front of the hotel. We went to Marbella on the ferry which is 20 euros return per person or 11 euros single journey. It was 30 minutes each way and a nice way to travel. We genuinely struggled to find nice places to dine in Puerto Banus, would highly recommend Gold Puerto Banus Restaurant at the far end of the marina. Reasonable with good food. 3 course lunch was 25 euros served to 5pm each day. We walked to San Pedro, the next town which was roughly 40 minutes, nice scenic walk and we dined in The Hogan Stand Irish bar, again great food and reasonable. Taxi back from San Pedro to ME Marbella was 10 euros. See my other reviews for different restaurants we dined in each night. Overall we had a lovely holiday. We would recommend ME Marbella. Team are very good. Housekeeping did a great job, thank you.

A wonderful experience at ME Marbella! A beautiful hotel with a unique atmosphere, stylish surroundings and excellent service. The staff are incredibly welcoming, attentive and always happy to help. Great food, lovely facilities and attention to every detail make this hotel a perfect place to relax and enjoy Marbella. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back!
