1. Location and Grounds The hotel is in a wonderful location. The moment you step out of your car, the first thing you notice is the scent of pine trees mixed with the sea air. It is no coincidence that this area is called Costa de los Pinos. The hotel is surrounded by pine trees and cypresses. It is set slightly away from the main part of the resort, which gives it a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. At the same time, Cala Millor’s long promenade is just a short drive away. The hotel grounds are not large, but they are beautiful, with plenty of greenery and flowers. I particularly liked the sunbathing area on a slightly elevated platform, offering wonderful views of the sea and the sunset. There are comfortable sun loungers, parasols and a canopy, all available free of charge. The platform is made of concrete, but I found it very comfortable for sunbathing, as sand does not stick to your body or belongings. If you prefer, you can walk down a short flight of steps to the public beach, where a sun lounger and parasol cost €5. I also really liked the floating plastic pontoon in the sea, about 30 metres from the shore. It encourages you to swim out to it, and you can sit there and enjoy the view of the mountains behind the hotel. SUP boards are also available for hire, making it easy to explore the coastline and nearby coves. The colour of the water in these coves is simply incredible! For those who prefer a sandy beach, there is another public beach with all the necessary facilities about 300 metres from the hotel. 2. Facilities and Leisure There is a swimming pool on the hotel grounds. I did not use it, but I was pleasantly surprised to see plenty of available sun loungers both around the pool and in other relaxation areas, even at 10 am. There was no need to reserve a lounger in advance to find a place to relax. At least, that was my experience during my stay. The guests are mostly a calm, mature crowd, which contributes to the peaceful atmosphere. It is a lovely place for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. Bicycles can be hired at the hotel, making it easy to explore the neighbouring resorts. The local landscape is well suited to cycling, and there are dedicated cycle paths. There is also a bus stop close to the hotel, which is convenient for exploring the island without a car. The bus timetable on Google Maps matched the actual services, so I found it reliable. 3. Food I chose the half-board option (HB), and the food left a very positive impression on me. The grilled meat and fish at dinner were excellent, and the fruit was both delicious and varied. I particularly appreciated the fact that the food was constantly replenished. Even if you arrive towards the end of breakfast or dinner, there is still plenty of food available, and it remains fresh and tasty. The buffet stations are well organised, and everything is presented neatly and appetisingly. It is nice to see that attention is paid to these details. 4. Staff The hotel staff are very friendly and polite, but the restaurant team deserves special praise. They made me feel genuinely welcome. The staff greeting guests at the restaurant entrance even remembered their names and welcomed them warmly. It may seem like a small detail, but these are exactly the kinds of things that make a stay feel special. The waiters were attentive, polite and tactful without ever being intrusive. Unlike some places I have visited, there was none of that tired, worn-out atmosphere that can sometimes be felt among staff in other establishments. I would also like to mention the woman working at the grill. She cooked everything beautifully, and whenever I asked for another helping, she happily served me more with a warm, genuine smile. Her kindness felt sincere. 5. Rooms and Housekeeping The rooms are quite spacious, and the towels and bed linen are fresh and pleasant to the touch. The interiors do feel a little dated and could benefit from renovation. However, considering all the other positive aspects of the hotel, this did not detract from my enjoyable stay. I would also like to praise the housekeeping staff. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly, and the cleaning was carried out almost without me noticing. They seemed to take my daily routine into account. For example, while I was having breakfast, they would clean my room, so I never had to rearrange my plans around housekeeping. Final Thoughts This is a place I would love to return to for the sea, nature, peace and atmosphere. I especially appreciate it when a beautiful location is complemented by genuinely kind people. It is this combination that has left me wanting to come back again.

Over the decades I have holidayed here many times and it never fails to keep up a high standard all round. The included spa is an added bonus. They even acknowledged my birthday!

We had a fantastic holiday. Although the hotel is a little remote this suited as very peaceful. The rooms are large and comfortable. The bathrooms also large and everywhere is spotlessly clean. Rooms are cleaned daily. The grounds are immaculate and there is always a sun-bed available. We had half board and I would certainly recommend this. The food is excellent, with a great variety for all tastes. The clientele are mainly German and the hotel has a very pleasant peaceful vibe. The holiday was great value for money and we will certainly be going again, without hesitation.
