Fantastic hotel with fantastic staff. All these staff have made our holiday amazing. Fran for his tireless work around the pool. Yana and Helena by the pool. Rudolph for his great company. Alejandro for running a great bar Paula for making breakfast a nice experience and making great coffee Leandro for being a great manager. Yari on the rooftop bar Not forgetting Jose the night porter amazing man.

What an amazing hotel! We stayed here for just 6 days in August 2026 and it was no where near long enough! It is simply beautiful! Our rooms were fantastic and cleaned throughly everyday. The food was excellent but above all the hotel staff, from the pool attendant to the bar and restaurant staff to the reception staff, all treated us like family and long lost friends from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they greeted us everyday with a smile ! It really felt that 5 stars isnt enough for the hotel and we would return in a heartbeat! Thank you and your staff for an amazing holiday.

My wife and I stayed at the Iberostar Selection Es Trenc in Mallorca for the Eclipse in August 2026. Our stay there was fantastic! The facilities are incredible. Luxurious, comfortable, and everything we could want. But the most memorable thing by far was the service. My wife and I have travelled all over the world, and we have never experienced service like this. Everyone we met greeted us with a smile and was willing to lend an extra hand. Not just one or two people – EVERYONE! Here is an example. I am a photographer and had been planning this trip to shoot the eclipse for over a year. The day before the eclipse, I realized I needed a part for my camera. I searched on-line and found a camera store in Palma. I needed to verify that they had the part, but I was uncomfortable calling because I only speak English. I approached Jelena at the front desk and told her of my emergency. Without hesitation, she picked up the phone and called the camera store and verified that they had the part. I drove to Palma, bought the part, and thanks to Jelena's help, I was able to shoot the eclipse! Many high-quality hotels have excellent teams that do their jobs well. The difference with this Iberostar team was they also brought positive energy and genuinely connected with us. They made us feel truly welcome. We will recommend the Iberostar to everyone we know and visit there every time we are in Mallorca!

We chose this hotel primarily for its proximity to the centre line of the 2026 total eclipse, and the unobstructed views to the northwest due to totality occurring near sunset. The fact that it is a newly renovated five star establishment was a bonus, or maybe a consolation prize should the weather prove uncooperative on the day! We were not disappointed on either front. Arrival was a breeze, less than an hour from the airport, parking outside the door, and checking in with a refreshing cocktail. Our junior suite on the 7th floor was spacious and comfortable, with sea views from the private balcony. Breakfast and dinner in the buffet restaurant had plenty of variety and was of good quality. As vegetarians better labelling of the options would have been helpful as it took a bit of detective work to figure out what was what, but there was lots of choice nonetheless. Every member staff was super-helpful and friendly. Service at the restaurant, pool bar, rooftop bar, etc. were great. There were free activities every day as well. We usually prefer to chill out by the pool, but the wine tasting, and DJs and singers at the rooftop bar were fantastic, with stunning 360 views at sunset into the bargain. When it came to the big event, we were blessed with clear skies. The team cleared the pool area, set up a stage, temporary bars, etc. and provided everyone with complimentary sangria and canapes. The hotel organised a talk from local astronomers, a singer, a fire show, and of course clear views of the eclipse itself hanging low over the horizon before sunset. A magical moment that we'll never forget. All in all, a great trip to a wonderful place. Highly recommended!

Our first holiday together in 8 years since having our kids, this hotel did not disappoint! Fantastic views, beautiful suite, great facilities, good food and in a really pretty location walking distance to restaurants and harbour. Hotel staff were beyond helpful and we enjoyed the evening live music on the roof. The area is not lively but that is exactly what we wanted! It was perfect from start to finish!
