Iberostar Selection Es Trenc

We stayed at an Iberostar Selection hotel on Tenerife a few months earlier and were hoping this would be as nice. Unfortunately it wasn't. We booked a suite but in reality it is just a badly designed room. No privacy in the shower and washbasins centimetres from where you sleep. No bathtub available in any of the rooms. The only good things were cleanliness and well maintained finish of the room. Biggest disappointment was the food. The hot food was not hot enough and each morning we had to ask for chilled milk as it was at room temperature. The selection of food was very average and the quality was just not good enough. The outdoor pools are an odd shape and can make it difficult for swimming lengths. Almost all the staff we interacted with were helpful and pleasant. This is an expensive hotel and was most definitely not value for money. I could not recommend it.

Great hotel, it has amazing food and a bit of a healthy focus from nut snacks in the gym to yoga and aqua fit in the pool. Very attentive staff waitor Fran was very friendly and looked after my family well.

An exceptional Mallorca experience – and a special thank you to Jelena! Our stay at Iberostar Selection Es Trenc was truly memorable. The beautiful sea views, excellent location, relaxing atmosphere and high standards of the hotel were everything we had hoped for – but what really made our stay exceptional was the people. A very special thank you has to go to Jelena at the Front Desk. Jelena was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we met her, she was warm, caring, genuinely helpful and extremely knowledgeable. She didn't simply answer our questions – she took the time to understand what we were interested in and gave us fantastic recommendations on where to go, what to do, where and what to eat, and which historical and cultural places were really worth discovering. Thanks to her, we experienced parts of Mallorca that we probably would never have discovered on our own. One of her recommendations was the wonderful Miquel Vidal Museum, which became one of the unexpected highlights of our trip. Discovering Mallorca through its art, culture and history added an entirely different dimension to our holiday. This is exactly what exceptional hospitality means to us. A beautiful hotel can provide a wonderful setting, but it is people like Jelena who transform a holiday into an experience you remember. The hotel itself is elegant, beautifully maintained and wonderfully positioned by the Mediterranean. The sea views are spectacular, the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and the overall quality of the experience. But above everything else, we will remember how genuinely welcome and cared for we felt. Jelena – thank you for your kindness, your patience, your knowledge and all those wonderful recommendations. You were an important part of our Mallorca experience. We would happily return to Iberostar Selection Es Trenc and recommend it without hesitation. 5/5 – wonderful hotel, beautiful Mallorca, and truly exceptional hospitality.

We had a really nice stay here with friends. The hotel was clean, comfortable and welcoming. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and had a great time together. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and we would happily come back.

I write this review as one of the worst experiences and services. While there were some good aspects to the property the room Size which is tiny and cramped with a strange bathroom Layout inside the room the meals were ok somewhat tasteless and cold. The hotel is clean and pool Area good. The worst experience came at check out - I handed my tag to the associate whom had some trouble locating my details I said my room Number and there was nothing to pay. He asked for his colleague to do the check out of which he seemed confused.The other gentleman confirmed my room Number and stated as expected no charges. I then waited for my pre booked private care transfer.the allocation time from holiday taxi was 1-15 ton1-30. At 1.20 the driver came into the reception greeted all the staff of which I assume he knows from Other pick ups the staff showed him to me and another took my case and Places it in the car. We proceeded to the airport . After 20 minutes driving the driver got a call and was told to turn back he spoke very little English and he put the caller onto the phone . The lady whom was from reception stated this was the wrong car and the other guest was waiting and couldn’t take any other car I asked if my car was there and she stated I can take no responsibility after a heated broken exchange the driver now returning I needed to Know my driver would wait. She couldn’t confirm this. When I eventfully returned back to the property there was a black car and driver together with the receptionist and 3 others including the gentleman whom put the case in the car . No apology just confused faces !! I was so annoyed. Be aware 1 I learn there are very few taxis in this part of the island . 2 the hotel took no responsibility for putting me in the wrong car and washing ;0 minutes of a drive 3 No apology. Poor just shocking and Poor
