Protur Badia Park Aparthotel

This is the third time in as many years I have come back to the Protur Badia Park. This time i can review a different room, as i accidently booked an apartment ha! Arrived lunch time - checking in was so easy, Ana checked us in, she is wonderful. She is always full of smiles and makes our trip great and she recognized us from last time, so we got a hug! yay! Then also came to see us when we were leaving as she worked late and we'd miss her by the time we'd left. The apartments are really nice, we had room 317 and it overlooked the pool, it was a total suntrap too. Room very spacious - two wardrobes so plenty of storage, a fridge and microwave included, plus also a table and chairs. We asked for a kettle so we can make a nice cup of tea before bed and coffee in the morning. Large Carrefour next door that has EVERYTHING. Food was fantastic, there is a wide selection, both for evening meals and also the lunch time choices. We also went to the themed Indian restaurant included in the stay, couldn't fault that at all. Gala Night was great. We found going to dinner at about 7.30 meant the rush had died down a little and we sometimes took some cheese and crackers to have in our room at night. I can't fault this hotel at all, location is perfect, I hired a wheelchair (externally) and it was there waiting when i arrived. You won't be disappointed in this hotel at all, plenty of sun beds around the pool, lots to eat and drink. Loved the new addition of the mint ice lollys. The location is great, not far from the beach and there is also a mini train which you can hop on and off to go around other parts majorca.. which is actually a nice little trip. The night time entertainment is a mix bag but its a holiday so let it be as crazy as it needs to be. Also the entertainment team around the pool everyday getting everyone involved in all the games and sports they had going on.

Just returned from 8 days here and, overall, it was perfect for us with our one-year-old. That said, before having a child, I’m not sure I would have enjoyed it as much as the hotel was very family-focused and full of children. The rooms were very clean and spacious, with a separate bedroom and lounge area, plus a fridge and microwave. My only suggestions would be to add a kettle and, for an all-inclusive hotel, I really think the rooms should provide at least one bottle of water per day. The food was really nice, with lots of variety. My only negative was that it could be a little cold, especially if you arrived towards the end of a mealtime. The facilities were great and very clean. We used the farm, which is included, as well as the splash park. I also used the laundrette, which was so easy and saved me from coming home to loads of washing! My partner used the gym every day and was happy with the facilities available. Reception staff were all super helpful and friendly. There’s plenty of choice when it comes to drinks, although sadly the cocktails are chargeable even with the all-inclusive package. Wine is available on tap, though! Another huge bonus is the massive supermarket right next door, which is basically the equivalent of a big Tesco. If I’d known beforehand, I definitely would have packed less! They had everything you could need, including nappies, wipes, baby food and sun cream. Overall, we had a really lovely stay and would definitely recommend it for families with young children.

We just got back from 10 nights here as a family of 4. We visited vista badia last year and loved the resort so tried this hotel this year and its as lovely as vista badia. The rooms are lovely and spacious and very clean. The pool is big and there's a splash park at the back which is perfect for young kids and there's a self serve drinks machine there too. The food was nice and varied but the restaurant does get very busy and loud. The entertainment is usual for an all inclusive and we saw some really good magic acts. After the show finishes at 10 it goes really empty and quiet but you can still get drinks until midnight. The hotel is 90% German which wasn't an issue for us, all the entertainment etc is translated to German/English/Spanish. All the staff we came across were friendly except the guy who collects glasses at night we actually joked how grumpy he was 🤣 the resort is brilliant you can visit mini golf, another splash park, parks and speciality restaurants etc. We also visited la reserva water park which was small but fun. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel/ resort and would visit again in future.

We are just back from a five night break at this beautiful hotel. Ignore some of the negative reviews,the rooms are of a very high standard. The food in the dining room is so varied,loads to choose from. The pool and pool bar are amazing. Only one little negative,a few of the staff are misreable. Would love to return next year

I think it really depends on what you're expecting here. It's not a bad hotel, but it is pretty basic rather than luxury. The Good - Excellent pools for young children. The splash pads are great - Rooms are clean and relatively new - Staff are mainly friendly, though the bar staff are indifferent 😂 - Decent location, right next to the Carrefour supermarket and only 10 minutes to the beach (which is lovely) - Lots of activities for kids (and adults if that's your style) The Bad - Kids mini disco starts quite late (20:30) for young children - Evening entertainment is all outside, which would be fine if it wasn't SOO LOUD. Zero chance of a quiet drink on the balcony once the kids are asleep. This goes on to 22:30 - Food is hit and miss. Some nights were good but others just seemed recycled - No kettle or tea/coffee making facilities in the room - The 'restaurants' seemed to be more buffets with a restriction on how many people can go. I was hoping to be able to actually sit down and order Overall we wouldn't return, but can see why others might.
