Vibra Blanc Palace

OK, so I try to be faire and objective when writing reviews and this one is a mixed bag. For a young family with small kids, great! Basic food and lovely mini disco and the big pools had shallow ends and the small pools were perfect and often much cooler than the main ones. However... As a couple with the kids now grown up and not with us, not so perfect. The rooms was lovely. Clean and the air con was enough. The cleaning and maintenance staff were very good and very friendly. Luz in the bar, was friendly and worked very hard looking after everyone. As mentioned earlier, the food was great for small kids but we found it boring and usually a little cold. Cold fried eggs (baked!) and cold bacon, not OK. We did pay for half board but ended up eating out in the evening 7 of the 10 days. Ciutadella was lovely and very reasonable. (another story!) The beach near the hotel was cute and we did go a few times but the one 15 mins walk away was by far the better and the drinks prices there were a lot less than in the hotel. Unfortunately 2 of the 6 pools were closed for maintenance over 4 days and we never really got a reason what that maintenance was for (not officially) Very pretty surroundings and lovely location close to Ciutadella (about 5-8 euros a taxi ride|).

I am currently staying in the hotel and the air conditioning has been broken for 6 days. They fix it and it breaks again. We have been woken up in the night by engineers going up metal stairs on the other side of the wall to our bed. It is now midnight and someone is still working above our room. Its good therI have asked to move rooms and been told there are no rooms to move to. If you are due to visit this hotel check if the AC is working before you come as once here you will be stuck in a room without it.  We have even had to by our own fan for the room. They are full but happy to have people stay without AC. The customer service has not been good with reception staff being defensive which is not what I expect from a supposed 4 star hotel.

We booked this hotel based on two criteria a ,short duration flight and it had a pool with steps into rather than the vertical type ladders down the side and this hite met them both .The reason the steps is my wife can’t use vertical steps following a serious road accident in Portugal some 2 years ago .However back to the hotel rated a 4 star on the board as you enter ,unfortunately this is not a 4 star or certainly not in room and block (2251) that we were allocated We had booked self catering and the room was basic ,but that never really bothers us as long as it’s clean ,you only sleep IIn it However it was tired and lacked general maintenance and although the cleaners did their best it didn’t change the fact it required an up grade We had two bathrooms a normal one with a walk in shower and fully disabled one ,which we didn’t use I think the biggest issues for us where the poor sun beds and sun brollies around the pool ,the lack of cleaning the toddlers pool and the poor state of the grounds throughout the complex Although we were self catering ,we used the hotel restaurant on a couple of occasions and the choice of food wasn’t bad for the price we paid ,but the on site supermarket was poorly stocked and had little selection of items If you stay at this accommodation there are very few restaurants in close proximity and we ended up going into Ciutudella on a few occasions to eat I’m my mind all this hotel needs to do to lift it is grounds and building maintenance and an upgrade programme for if they don’t they will get very few returning customer. Just a foot note all the staff were pleasant and very helpful Would we go back possibly yes but to the cottages

Very clean and friendly apartment complex. Staff great, only small issue with the shower on 1st night but quickly sorted the next day. Room was superb, everything you needed. 1 small tip, bring a teatowel. Bus stop outside, taxis available to book from reception although many going past all the time. Atmosphere great, no issues at all. Value for money definitely. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Nice large apartments with balcony. Cleaning service every day. Helpful and friendly reception. Amazing big pool. Nice bar and food next to it. Another nice pool and bar and (expensive)convenience shop near the gorgeous little beach a few steps away. Pot luck what room you get but we were happy at the back of the hotel as not looked upon from other guests (rooms 1121 and 1123) and still had a sea view.some rooms were by the entrance so not private . We arrived just before the bar closed at 11pm so just managed to get a drink and some crisps. The staff were very kind and let us relax a bit later in the bar after our long journey. We attempted to get the local bus into Cuitedella one day but after two passed us full , we just went back to the hotel and they order a taxi for you.so convenient and cheaper than the bus for 4 people.Basically just get a taxi around if not walking distance. There is another lovely beach about 8min walk away and some lovely places to eat .Also the local supermarket is on the way. Overall the hotel was lovely, chilled and relatively quiet .No fighting for sunbeds, or loud people, and we would absolutely recommend this hotel to stay. We miss it already .xx oh and well worth a visit is LITHICA .5 min taxi away. Old quarry conversion. Wow.
