Veranda Resort Hua Hin

The hotel has a lovely atmosphere. It is quiet, clean, peaceful, and not too crowded, and the swimming pool is beautiful. Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing due to several service issues that should have been handled much more professionally. I arrived at around 3:40 PM for check-in, only to be informed by the staff that the water supply would be unavailable for approximately one hour due to a plumbing issue. While I understand that unexpected maintenance problems can happen, I was disappointed that no apology in the form of compensation or alternative arrangements was offered proactively. I was not even informed where I could use the bathroom during this period. I had to call the staff myself to ask, and only then was I told to use the bathroom in the spa area. This raises an important question: why was assigned a room that was not fully ready for use when I had only just arrived at the hotel? Furthermore, when I requested a late check-out, the staff were unable to confirm it and asked me to check again next day. The next morning, the front desk confirmed that I could check out at 12:30 PM. However, at around 11:00 AM, my key card stopped working, and I could not access my room. I went to the front desk to report the issue. The staff initially told me that the key card was working normally and issued a replacement, but the new card did not work either. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the same staff member then told me that my check-out time was 12:00 PM, despite having confirmed 12:30 PM earlier that morning. In the end, I had to ask a housekeeping staff member nearby to help me access my room. I do not understand why no one from the front desk came to investigate the problem properly in the first place. Guests should not have to walk back and forth between their rooms and the front desk to resolve an issue that should be handled efficiently by the hotel team. The only staff member who genuinely left me with a positive impression was the security guard at the hotel entrance, who was consistently helpful with parking. His service was appreciated and stood out among an otherwise disappointing experience. I sincerely hope the management will review these incidents and improve communication, staff coordination, and guest service standards. Unexpected problems can happen at any hotel, but how the hotel communicates with guests and resolves those problems makes all the difference. As a Thai guest, I was left wondering whether the hotel maintains consistent service standards for all guests, regardless of nationality. I do not want to make assumptions, but this experience unfortunately left me questioning whether every guest receives the same level of care and consideration. The hotel has a beautiful setting and a peaceful atmosphere, but the service experience fell far short of expectations. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

Service is very good. The mood and tone is super private & clean.

Fun New Little Splash Experience! 💦 Great experience at Veranda’s new Little Splash! The rides were fun, the facilities were clean and new, and the staff were friendly. Perfect for a fun family day!

It has been our first stay at the resort. Simply said we had a wonderful time. The resort is located directly at the beach, completely peaceful and quiet. We had a 2 bedroom pool villa, which is well designed and really a nice play to stay. However, we had some maintenance issues, which were taken care of by the staff. We were offered a complimentary room upgrade, which we gladly accepted. The newer 2 bedroom pool villa was incredibly nice and of high quality. I would especially like to mention the recepionist Mrs. Tao as well as the hotel managemend. They were always polite, friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was absolutely fine, and the kindness of the personell there has to be mentioned as well... Overall we had a very nice time there. This is one the most relaxing places we have ever seen...

This was my first stay here, and I’m so glad I decided to come! I had just purchased the V Escape Pass and used my birthday benefit for a “stay 1 night, get 1 night free” offer. It couldn’t be better value than this! The room was spacious, with a large balcony where I could sit, enjoy the cool breeze, and relax while taking in the view of the swimming pool and even the sea. The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, creating such a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. One of the highlights is the swimming pool nestled under the shade of a huge tree, as well as the beautiful beachfront, with its long stretch of white sandy beach extending as far as the eye can see. I highly recommend giving this place a try. It’s truly a wonderful place to stay! On top of that, I also had the chance to enjoy a spa treatment, including an Aroma Massage. The therapist was incredibly skilled and professional. The massage was so relaxing that I ended up booking another session for the following day! It was the perfect way to unwind and made my entire stay feel truly complete and relaxing. And lastly, I would also like to give a special compliment to the security staff at the parking area, as he made a wonderful first impression of the hotel. The staff member on duty between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM on 12 Aug was extremely alert, attentive, and proactive. He warmly welcomed us and made a genuine effort to help us find a parking space.
