La Solaya Khao Lak

We stayed at La Solaya in Khao Lak for three days and two nights with two friends and felt extremely comfortable. The staff were particularly friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very spacious and offer every amenity. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. The highlight was the BBQ and seafood buffet with a fire show in the evening right on the beach. A big thank you goes to the entire hotel team for making us feel so comfortable the whole time. A special thank you goes to Khun Ton (Tony), who served us in an extremely friendly and considerate manner.

First impression of the hotel was excellent - very attentive staff who drove us to our villas which was a very short walk from reception. They waited patiently while we got our bags in order then took us directly to the restaurant (Solmare) for a pleasant dinner by the sea. The villa was huge, with an extremely comfortable be, tub and shower. Fruit and snacks were provided, however, bottled water is an extra cost. Paying for potable water is not something that should happen at a hotel. Breakfast was... disappointing. The meats were usually cold, and one morning they replaced the regular bacon with something that looked like colored-in butcher's paper. Pancakes and waffles were extremely dry, fruits were anemic. Coffee was suitably strong, though. Variety was lacking. The resort itself was uniformly clean, and the pools were immaculate. Definitely choose this hotel if you are a sun-worshipper. Cocktails poolside were surprisingly strong for Thailand, although it was tough to flag down someone to take an order. Location is very good with a variety of services such as good restaurants, supermarkets, tailors, bars and some cleaner massage places. There's not much else here, but if you desire a non-tourist vacation in Thailand, this is 100% the spot.

Our stay at La Solaya Khao Lak was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality that made us feel at home throughout our entire vacation. The resort is beautifully designed, peaceful, and impeccably maintained. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, while every facility reflected the high standards of the hotel. Every detail contributed to a relaxing and memorable experience. What truly made our stay special, however, was the incredible staff. We would especially like to express our sincere appreciation to Yan, Pleum, Shamil, Jew,Rinna and Tum. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care exceeded every expectation. They were always smiling, attentive, and willing to help with anything we needed. Their positive attitude and heartfelt service made us feel like valued guests rather than just visitors. It is employees like them who make a great hotel truly exceptional. They created unforgettable memories for us and are a true credit to La Solaya Khao Lak. Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely return and highly recommend this beautiful resort to anyone visiting Khao Lak. We can’t wait to come back!

Hotel are new renovated facilities. Room are nice and feel warm welcome with thai hospitality. Restaurant are new and staff are so nice and detail with guest. I went to this hotel during my birthday. Staff bring samll cake that make me so surprise during breakfast. I would like to say thank you to restaurant staff Khun Fai and all restaurant team.
