Orfeus Armin Hotel

The hotel is lovely and provides a relaxing setting for a break away. The bartenders and hospitality staff were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The rooms are on the smaller side, but this wasn’t a major issue for us. However, we did have some problems with the towels. On several occasions, our used towels were removed but clean replacements were not provided, meaning we had to contact reception multiple times to request them. We also found that the receptionist would sometimes leave the desk, so when we needed assistance, we had to wait—this was particularly noticeable with the gentleman working the evening/night shift. The food in the restaurant was a little repetitive, although there was always something available to eat. Unfortunately, there were no labels on the food, which is a major issue for anyone with food intolerances or allergies. It often felt like a guessing game trying to work out what each dish contained. The pool area itself is lovely, although quite a few of the sunbeds had rips in the material. Thankfully, there was never any issue finding a sunbed, and we didn’t experience any of the usual “sunbed wars”. Overall, the hotel was okay for a one-week stay and we did enjoy aspects of our time there. However, unfortunately, we wouldn’t stay again. There were several small issues throughout our stay that could have been easily addressed and would have made a big difference to the overall experience.
