Rixos Park Belek – The Land of Legends Theme Park Free Access

I would give this a zero star if I could, I don’t even know where to start with our nightmare of a honeymoon/family holiday. We originally through TUI booked RIXOS premium and payed Rixos premium price. TUI sent a confirmation that even says Rixos premium. ( this happened to another couple also) When we arrived at rixos park they did nothing to help us as it was an issue with tui. We eventually after 4 days of hounding the tui rep we admitted defeat and that we would just deal with it when we got home. The main reason I booked Rixos premium is I had been corresponding with the hotel about my husband allergies as he has an anaphylaxis wheat allergy. Rixos park has tried there best to cater for This however no one really understood me when we were explaining it that he cannot eat wheat. Fast forward to our 5th night into the hell hole stay. We went for dinner at the grill restaurant. On the menus it will have Symbols for the allergy included in the meal. When my husband had the grilled kofta the menu only had the allergy for mustard so he carried on eating, a few moments later he started having a reactions, I called the waiter over to ask what was in the dish and he said the kofta sits on flat bread! Flat bread! and he had asked them several times was there any wheat in the dish before ordering they just pointed to the symbol and said no only Mustard! I said flatbread contains wheat there response was oh well it’s for decoration! You don’t eat it.I had a 2 year old child at the time and my husbands epi pen was all the way back at the room. I had to sprint from one side of the hotel to the other whilst shouting someone to help, no one helped, the golf carts that they have for service didn’t even stop. Long story short do not trust this hotel if you have an allergy. When we went to speak to the manager the next day I recorded the conversation he was having as it was in Turkish with his other manager and the translator conversation was something along the lines of how can they be that stupid to eat the flatbread. All in all DO NOT BOTHER! TUI also didn’t want to know it’s been a year and I still haven’t even had a response back despite severe emails I gave up. Please no one make the same mistake we did especially if you have allergies.

We had a wonderful experience when it comes to the kids club at Rixos Park Belek. The girls working there were very careful and attentive with all kids. They had painting, balloons, football activities and mini disco every night at 9. Overall experience with them has been great.

I thought I had booked Rixos Premier so was confused when we arrived at Rixos park however I have been pleasantly surprised with the hotel and will be happy to recommend to family and friends. people’s restaurant is great for us. We do not have little children so the buffet can get too busy and we prefer to eat here. Drinks have been nice. The stairs to the bedrooms are not great especially when busy. My older children use the football pitch (which they love) It would be nicer to have a better quality coffee. We don’t enjoy the machines. The Al carte restaurants have been great. Especially the Asian. Staff have all been very helpful and friendly. The workers on the skates work very hard and so kind. 10/10. Hotel is lovely and clean. The bands in the evening have been ok. We would have liked more English music. The air con is perfect and the AI function is also very easy to use and helped when I needed answers quickly. All in all, we’ve had a lovely time and would return.

Compared to other Rixos hotels we have stayed at (Abu Dhabi and Dubai) this hotel doesn’t even compare when you look at the customer service of the reception staff. Check in was supposed to be at 2pm however we weren’t given our rooms until 5pm! The day before we were due to check out we received a letter to check out at 11am when on our booking it specified 12pm. Also on our last day we had to request numerous times for our room to be cleaned. The positives and saving grace for this hotel are the guest relations staff especially Trihsia who was lovely and professional each time we spoke to her regarding our queries. If you have any issues speak to her rather than reception staff!
