Just finished a 7-day stay at Seaden Quality Resort and I honestly cannot fault it. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The rooms and hotel grounds were immaculate, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean throughout our stay. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always quick to help. Service was consistently fast, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. The food offered a good variety and we thoroughly enjoyed the quality and selection available each day. The beach was fantastic and located less than a minute’s walk from the hotel, making it incredibly convenient. The hotel is also only around a 10-minute drive from the old town of Side, which was perfect for exploring the area. The entertainment programme was enjoyable and added to the overall experience. We had a wonderful holiday and would happily return. Highly recommended.
Vše bylo perfektní , jen v moři hodně kamenů. Doporučuji boty do vody s sebou.

Let me paint you a picture. You save up, you plan, you get excited — nearly €3,000 for a 5-star resort in Turkey. You promise your parents a beautiful holiday. You arrive full of hope. Some of that hope was rewarded. Some of it wasn't. And I think future guests deserve to know both sides honestly. The Check-In. The first few minutes were fine — they offered us something to drink. A nice touch. Then the confusion began. I was the only one in our group of four who spoke English. My parents and my boyfriend don't. The receptionist noticed this immediately — and proceeded to have a conversation in Turkish with his colleague, pointing at the screen, handling what seemed like a suspicious number of key cards for just two rooms. Then came the offer: "We have a wonderful upgrade for you — only €86 per night." It was my birthday. I thought — maybe they're being kind? They were not being kind. What followed was a 30–40 minute tour of rooms that did not match what I had booked. First: a sweltering room high up in the building with a distant sliver of sea if you squinted. The problem? I had already paid an extra €100 specifically for a sea-view room. Then a third room 8th floor, end of the corridor that smelled so strongly of sewage I can still picture it. Damp walls, peeling wallpaper, a bed that was barely a proper double. When I pulled out my phone and showed the receptionist the room I had booked, he told me with a straight face that the photo was Photoshop. Not a real room. A receptionist at a 5-star resort, telling me that the photo on the hotel's own booking page was fake. It was only when I made clear I was about to call our tour guide that he suddenly remembered our actual rooms were available. Miraculous recovery. Language . Here is something you need to know before booking: this is, in practice, a German resort that happens to be located in Turkey. Every sign at reception? German first, English below in smaller letters. The morning music? "Guten Morgen." The evening entertainment? Predominantly in German. Staff greetings? German Multiple staff members told me, apologetically, that they speak better German rather than English. I did not like the fact that I was greeted everywhere in German, like , I am in turkey guysss! I want to be clear: The German guests were genuinely lovely, quiet, and well-mannered. But future guests deserve to know the truth: if you don't speak German, you will feel like a guest at someone else's party. I did not feel like I was in Turkey for a single moment of this trip. The cultural atmosphere, the entertainment, the communication all of it was oriented in one direction. The Beach. This one genuinely caught me off guard. If I had known what that beach looked like, I might have thought twice about booking. It is not a beach in the traditional sense it is a rocky coastline. From the very entrance: boulders. Large ones. Everywhere. Virtually no sand. I have a small cut on my foot from the rocks, and I have a scar . Neither we nor many other guests even attempted to enter the water from this beach. Instead, we walked to the neighboring hotels whose beaches were perfectly normal and swam there. À La Carte We asked four different people how the à la carte restaurant worked. We received four completely different answers. Reservation required. No reservation needed. Included in the package. Extra charge. We gave up. We never went. The Room Spacious? Yes. Clean? Yes. But both our room and my parents' room smelled persistently of sewage throughout the stay. The walls themselves were thin enough that we could hear our neighbors clearly at all hours. The saving grace was our housekeeper, who was warm, thorough, and reliable every single day. Water and minibar refilled without fail, room always left beautifully. She genuinely deserves recognition. My Birthday I want to be fair here. The birthday note and fruit left in our room was a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. But my mother went to reception and specifically asked if they could do something small at dinner the kind of simple celebration we had seen at other hotels. They said yes. What arrived was a single slice of cake, cut from the main buffet, placed on a plate. No candles. No song. Nothing else. That same evening, another guest celebrating his birthday received fireworks and a full birthday song from the staff. Ultra All-Inclusive We arrived at 4pm. The check-in ordeal pushed us past 5pm. By then, every restaurant was closed or winding down. Not a single staff member proactively told us where to find food. We figured it out ourselves Cacao restaurant — where we were told there were only pastries and sandwiches The Entertainment I'll be honest: the daytime entertainment was one of the bigger disappointments of the stay. There were three animators covering the entire resort — and their idea of beach entertainment was the same game of ball every single day, involving the same small circle of guests they had clearly befriended early in the week. If you weren't already in that group, you weren't really invited in. The games felt closed off rather than inclusive, and after the first day it was clear nothing was going to change. The evenings weren't much better. Outside of the pool show — which was genuinely fun and well done, and one of the true highlights of the trip — the rest of the evenings were quiet to the point of being forgettable. For a resort of this size and price, you would expect an animation team that actively engages everyone, brings energy to the pool and beach, and makes guests feel welcome . Now, the Good Stuff — Because There is . The beach service was absolutely outstanding. There was a tall, friendly young man who looked after us every single day attentive, cheerful, always bringing something without us even having to ask. He is the definition of 10/10, and this hotel should be deeply grateful to have him. The food was genuinely good. Fresh, varied, and the baklava — honestly the best I have ever eaten in my life. The soft drinks were excellent too. Sun loungers were always available with no towel-at-dawn drama, which is rarer than it should be. What Needs to Change Fix the sewage smell ,it is not acceptable at this price point. Warm up the indoor pool. Invest in an entertainment team that genuinely engages all guests, not just a favored few .Train reception staff to welcome guests in English or Turkish before defaulting to German. And please represent the beach honestly in your promotional materials. The Bottom Line The food is good, the beach service is exceptional, the concept is organized, and certain staff members are truly wonderful. But for nearly €3,000, for a group that isn't German-speaking, arriving with high expectations and leaving with a foot injury, a sewage smell in the memory, a birthday quietly ignored, and evenings that passed in near silence —I can only give it three stars and a list of honest caveats. Know what you're booking. And know who this hotel is really built for. If it fits your profile, you may have a wonderful time. It just didn't fully fit ours. P.S. Our highly respect to Fatih, he works at the main restaurant, you made our evenings great.
